When Yang was about 4 years old, he got a special gift from his parents. No one was meant to see what it was until Yang's birthday, which was in July.

On the morning of his birthday, Yang dashed down the stairs in footie pajamas and his red cape like a super hero he always wanted to be. Yin was asleep as always because he hated waking up so early in the morning. As Yang ran down to the living room, his cape got stuck on one of the statues. He tried his hardest to get it unstuck from the statue, but no one was awake to help him get it off. So, he decided to wait until one of the servants or maids came in to help. To his surprise, he heard the flapping of wings.

"Hello? Anyone there? Help me! My cape is stuck and I can't get it off," whined Yang. When he looked up, he saw a small dragon. It had golden horns that went into swirls, and its tail was like a spear. The dragon's color appeared to change from the mood it was in. Then, the dragon used it's claws to get the cape off from the statue. "Where did you come from?" asked Yang as he stared at the dragon. The dragon just came floating down to the floor and nuzzled his face into Yang's warm footie pajamas. Yang started to smile and went down to the living room.
