The moon, the shadows and I.

Its dark, no light
The moons full tonight
The clouds turn yellow
As they cross the moon
The stars shine
Here and there.

Its quiet, it's peaceful
I roam in the night
I lurch in the shadows
I am feared, I am respected
I'm afraid of the darkness.

What am I, who am I
I don't know, who knows?
I'm feared, I'm loved
I have a family, who am I really
I wish I knew.

I'm alone, In the dark
As I lurch in the shadows
The moon is my only friend.
