Personality: Ishimaru prefers to use his middle name, the only trace of his mother's background in his name, being closer to her than he is with his father. Being the eldest son he is expected to take over his father's business however he isn't interested in the big business that his family does, instead he allows his older sister to do it because she seems more interested. This saves Ishimaru a lot off time in which he pratices many different martial art styles and allows him to extend his personal collection of old weaponry. Japanese history fascinates him and he strives to achieve the ancient dying skills of his mother's people, namely the samurai, though he does pratice some of the ninja arts.

When he comes in contact with other people who he is not friends nor enemies with he simply is polite to them and gives rather short and blunt answers. However with his friends he likes to laugh and joke with them, sometimes takes them with him when he goes to train. It is more to show off what he has achieved, though he does offer to teach them what he's learned, not wanting to seem like he was just belittling them. When angered he can become violent, and because of his martial training becomes dangerous to any that try and restrain him, or piss him off farther.

Background: Arthur Ishimaru Parison is the second child of the Parison family, first born son with an older sister. Their mother is a Japanese woman his father had met when he was traveling abroad in his youth, the two are married of course. His older sister Mary Yumi Parison was close to their father, idolizing him and wanting to grow up and be like the son he wish Haru was supposed to be, a business genius that can handle the difficulties of running the family. Too bad for Mr. Parison Ishimaru was closer to his mother, looking a lot like her even from birth, and taking after her in skill and grace. Even when he was just learning to walk he was constantly able to keep his balance when it looked like he was going to fall. Eventually he read stories about what it used to be like in his mother's home country and decided when he was young that he wanted to be like the old dead heroes of Japan... at least in skill, it wasn't like a swordsman would be any real use in the modern world. That still didn't dissuade him despite all of his father's pressure.

When he let his mother know his wish she used his father's money to hire a private instructor, teaching him karate, and another to teach him the way of the sword. Other things also interested him like the opposite of the samurai, the ninja, he started to learn how to do their things on his own, knowing that there weren't really any openly praticing ninja... seeing as how that went against what they were meant to do. In secret he trains to climb and move without being seen, as well as studying how the ninja would fight if caught, nerve strikes and clever tatics to defeat those of greater skill.

This was all good and he was having fun with it, until he turned seventeen he found an old arquebus in a pawn shop, it also piqued his intrested and he purchased it on the spot. After a bit of money he had it restored to firing conditon and found it fun and interesting to use a gun that revolutionized the world. It was a gun that ended the age of the Samurai but it was still something he liked. Since that day he has gathered more old guns, and had some recreated for his private collection. Recently his older sister got married to a man she loved and is pregnant with her first child... Too bad she got married before he found out about the forced marriages coming, now he has to leave his family and his collection and meet his future bride that could be anyone. He personally doesn't care for the feuds he just wants to be left to his own devices.
Other Info: Attempts to carry a blade wherever he goes, except airports of course. Has broken both arms and his left leg in his different types of training, and hates it when he can't train because of an injury. And yes, his hair is naturally white, a genetic defect the doctors say.
