Day 01 - Month 04
**** Trunks entered the room of Spirit and Time with Goten following him. When the door shut behind them for a moment all Trunks could do is stare, the temperature seemingly got hot moments after entering this 'room'. The sweep is made up of two rooms, one room with two beds and the other room with barrels of water and a years worth of food supplies. There is a corner where the bathroom is and a copper large bathtub stood as well. Their seemed to be an audible ticking in the air like that of a giant clock. The air is heavy as if in an enclosed space. Trunks followed his father out to the open porch that led...oh dende. It led out into the middle of nowhere! A huge expanse of a void that lay before them. A dense mist covered the floor of the void, feint winds blowing it from one direction or another. On either side of the entrance is a huge hour glass depicting the hours and days spent in her. One hour glass represents the hours, and the other represents the days. Above the entrance way is a clock that shows the time of the world outside this room.

**** Trunks did not know that this is not the first time that Goten has been in this chamber. He had explained then that he had been in this chamber once before with the Trunks he knew in order to train and master the fusion. Stepping off of the porch he immiediatly noticed the tension of applied weight on his person from the greater then normal gravity. Trunks didn't falter though, he felt that it shouldn't take long to get used to it. It is going to be difficult getting used to this wide and open void. Turning back to Goten, Trunks would then say that for now he would like to spend the first couple of months getting used to the climate changes in this place and train seperatly for a bit, he is glad that Goten did not mind, it would be a good warm up to get used to the chamber itself before they get into more serious training. But both men agreed to not stray too far from the sweep.

**** From that point on the two half-saiyans went their separate ways to train. Trunks spent first several weeks adjusting himself to the constant change in temperatures in the void. His body would freeze under intense temperature drops, ice carving a cage around him and encasing his body. He would have to raise his energy and much as possible to get free, and would suffer from a cold. Sometimes when overpowering heat waves came, it would seem to create a burning inferno that burned his flesh and scorched his body, it hurt! He suffered through heat and cold flashes, which caused him to also suffer through the flu and through heat strokes. He spend a couple of days in the hotel part of this place recovering from the ailments. He noted that Goten seem to be fairing if not as well with the climate changes but is holding his own against the void. Trunks soon became used to the constant changes in the weather and began to apply himself even harder, staying away for days and days at a time without sleep and without food. His raw determination nearly got himself killed as Goten had to drag him back before he died of thirst or hunger out there. All he would think about is the pain of his timeline and drill into his mind Cell's image as he fought, and adapted to this world's harsh training.

**** As the months past, Trunks had already begun to miss Amara, he began to notice the loneliness of her absence in his head, it is like he is not even bonded to her, like she vanished off the face of the planet. Goten is nice company but at the same time he misses Amara. He would have time to think about his relationship with her as he trained in this place. He would let his mind drift to the time he first met her and how their lives seem to entwine and mix from then on out. As he brooded on the time when he had been drunk and had sex with her, details were becoming more visible in his mind's eye now, the feelings he felt, the sensations...it made him yearn to have her, to touch her...to feel her again. Sometimes for days he would not train but stare off into space thinking about her and what she means to him. He made himself meditate to keep himself busy or he'd slack off in training. By this time his lavender hair and grown a few inches.



Month 05 - Month 08
**** Trunks energy had at least doubled in power at this point in time. Trunks had stopped worrying about Amara and focused on training himself. He had gotten used to the constant environment changes in the void and has learned to adapt his body to cold and hot flashes often created. It is at this time that he would spend more time near the sweep doing constant weight lifting exersizes with Goten and getting into coversations with the other half-saiyan. "You say that in your era a majician set loose some sort of monster that consumes your home world?" He would then listen as Goten got more indept with the detail of his future that is trashed. It started when he was just a kid, when he was the same age as the Kid Goten and kid Trunks. Trunks would let him talk as they trained, learning in full detail about that history. At this point Trunks is confident that he is more then strong enough to take out the androids in his time. He by now felt an obligation to help Goten win back his time a peaceful end.

**** "You mentioned before that you wanted to show me a new technique, is it this fusion you learned with the other Trunks? Can you tell me the mechanics of this ability?" And Goten would describe that it is a simple thing to learn, with rules: The fusion is a dance, a series of poses and specific movements done between two individuals of realistically the same sex, species and the same age. Their power levels have to be equal and the movements precisely seqrenized. They must be absolutely simultaneous in the dance which will end in touching fingers at the center and a fusion should take place. Goten spoke of the failed attempts and what the results were. That the slightest slip in the dance could have concenquences. with each fusion it takes 30 minutes before the fusees are separated. The fusion cannot be done again for another 30 minutes to 'recharge' so to speak. But the result of a true fusion is power beyond his comprehension. The only problem was in Goten's era, that despite the fantastic power of the fusion, their enemy was even more powerful then the fusion.

**** Once the written version has been understood, Trunks considered the liabilities and the important assets that this ability will be for future fights, and it also considers if he will be helping Goten make his era a peaceful era after he makes his own era peaceful. Goten's main paragative would be to get stronger and find the means to defeat majin buu. He would have the same paragatives that he, Trunks has for being in this timeline. And so now that he understands Goten better, Trunks feels that he will owe Goten for lending him this ability to pass on to the others. "Very well then, I will learn it and when my time is made peaceful again," he smiled at the son of Goku with earnest, "I will go to your time and do what I can to help defeat this Buu in your time. In fact I think that you should teach the younger counterparts of us, they seem to come from the general timeline your future is created from so even if they learn it later on it might make a difference in their time if they went back prepared." Once Gohan and Kid goten trains in here, there may be a difference to having them be separably stronger before fusion is made, fusion seems to be an exact combination of their energy, Trunks has a theory that the stronger each individual is before fusion, the stronger the fusion in itself will be. Trunks knew that by accepting this responsibility that he made Goten's day, and so now the reall work begins.

**** Goten would then take over and begin teaching Trunks the fusion in the way that he himself had been taught. To start out each were to stand side by side and power up to their strongest power. Trunks took a long swig of water from his water bottle before standing and joining Goten out in the void. They would begin to power up, pretty quickly the ground began to tremble under and around them as the void turned a deep blue black and purple, wild lightning arced around them as they blasted to super saiyan status and roared their defiance as each half saiyan focused his power, bringing it out of them, their muscles began to bulk up but not as powerful as Vegeta yet. they have both surpassed Kid Trunks by now but they are not quite up to Vegeta's power. That will change as the year progresses. Finally when they have both reached their peak as it turned out, Trunks has succeeded Goten some. Goten would make a comment on how much stronger they have gotten, Trunks himself is surprised by how much stronger he has gotten so far. And is enjoying the feel of it.

**** Goten then asked Trunks to lessen his power to make it even with Goten's power and they they are to remember that distinction. They would power down then power up again but only to the brink before going super saiyan and measure out their power levels again, again remembering the measurements of their power levels to make them even for a real fusion. Once this is done they would power down again. After another drink of water, Trunks gets to sit down on the porch and watch as Goten performed each essential pose for the fusion to work. By the end of it, Trunks had a couple of sweat drops on his head, anime style and appeared to be somewhat aghast and uncertain. Does he really have to perform such distasteful poses in front of people?

1.) First the two individuals must stand a few paces apart from one another, then they raise their arms horizontally away from their partner with the hands flat out and fingers strait.

2.) Next the two take 3 small steps towards one another while swinging their arms in an rainbow arc towards one another, hands in the same position.

3.) Next swinging their arms back to position 1, hands made into fists, they have to watch the angle of the legs as they bend their leg nearest to their partner in and over the other leg, almost in the way a baseball player performs this pose right before throwing the ball to be batted by the other player.

4.) Finally, taking a step closer, outer leg extended out as they bend their bodies at an angle towards one another reaching with their arms towards each other, their four finger extended on each hand to connect with the four finger of their partner. Then if performed exactly correctly, a true fusion should take place.

**** Goten laughed out loud at the sight of Trunks expression and laughingly told of how everyone else reacted to first seeing those poses, including an explanation of after Goku had to return to the other world, how he and Trunks had Piccolo and Krillen perform the poses so that they could get a proper example of it again to learn. The looks on their faces were priceless. Goten never thought that Piccolo could blush so deeply from the embarrassing of the poses. When Trunks tried to put that in his mind he snorted and laughed out loud as well but covered his mouth. It had been a while since he could laugh like that. "heh...well I suppose injury to one's one ego is a small sacrifice to keeping everyone alive. I doubt that father would have bothered with something like that." Boy was he surprised that Goten described that Vegeta did do a fusion with Goku. Though it was not the fusion dance.

**** The next several days were spend on perfecting the dance alone, Trunks would rather avoid accidents and get it right the first time. So he studied hard and practiced it until he could and would do it blindfolded. Finally they decided to give it a shot and see what happens. Trunks and Goten powered up to the measured amount of energy before going super, then standing a few paces apart. It is time to test the fusion. Both he and Goten took the first position then performed the dance. "Fusion...HA!" They connected their index fingers together at the end, neither of them made a flaw in the dance. Trunks wanted it to be their best on first real test. It is a strange feeling, merging with Goten then everything changes.

**** With the fusion comes knowledge, everything that makes up Trunks and Goten become one entity, everything they know is known to each other and become Gotenks memories and knowledge. He could make out memories of another version of Gotenks, a younger version, he could see the attacks and battle experience of the young Gotenks from Goten's point of view, and he could see the flaws, with the observant and theorizing brain power of Future Trunks, Future Gotenks can see the means to perfect attacks, make new ones, and improve on what is already known. They are one, One is made up of they. They are perfect.

**** When the fusion ended after 30 minutes of memorizing different histories and analyzing the old Gotenks a light engulfed F.Gotenks and Trunks and Goten separated. They now knew one another so well because of the fusion that they may as well be brothers despite the difference in time orientation. "So that is the fusion..." The power he felt was incredible, and that was without going super, if they can fuse while super then they'd be unbeatable. At least the feeling is there in the case. He looked at Goten with a raised brow and quoted "'Kamikaze Ghost Attack?" he had seen the attack in Goten's memories, and it is ingenious if a bit childish. They could use and improve that attack along with a few others. Trunks intended to make new attacks among other things. They had their work cut out for them.

**** For the remainder of the month, Trunks and goten perfected the fusion, improoved on some of the original Gotenks attacks and then made new ones. Such as The Burning Kamehameha, where he would make the hand signals that trunks makes in priecise motions each motion accompanied by the chanting of the kamehameha wave ending with making the coughed hand position to call out BURNING KAMEHAMEHA!" It would create not precicely a cannon but rather a burnning attack energy blast with the momentum and power of the kamehamea cannon behind it, causing massive explosion and damage upon contact. With the Kamekazi Ghost attack, it is improoved that instead of making the clones out of spewing them from the mouth a single energy ball is thrown into the sky where it then seperates into multple energy waves that then take the shape of the clones for the attack. Each with slightly different personality defects but more mature then Kid gotenks.

Month 09 - Month 12

**** With only 4 more months left to this training session, Trunks and goten have improoved greatly on gotenks and now it is time to seperate to improve on each other. Trunks thrusting his fists hard in rapid succession while transformed to his highest power, he trains nonstop for weeks on end. Finally after his recent meal and rest, he builds up his power, stronger, and stronger. The void turns purple and black with violent gold lighting crackling about. The ground gives way under him as his muscles bulk building until he had a larger hulk like appearance that reminds him of Brolly, he feels like he is invincible! Nothing could beat him. The feeling is wonderful! He then practices his attacks, finding new ones such as creating a heat wave of energy right off of his battle aura, this attack would polverize anything in its way. He improved on the Mesenko attack. Soon he felt satisfied with his training. There is only one way to test it now.

**** He and Goten commense in intense combat training for the 10th month of the year, attacking one another with frightful vigor imagining the other as their worst enemy, He imagining Cell where as Goten imagined Majin Buu when fighting Trunks. Their power could have almost shattered the void each blow sending shockwaves that cracked the tall hour glasses and broke open the ground, the full heat dome wave against the kamehameha wave was an awesome frightful sight as they let their anger out and consumed the other till both would callapse in exhuastion. Finally satisfied with their training.

*** For the remainder of the year, both he and Goten spent their time relaxing with lightly sparing on the side. Trunks hair had grown to shoulder length by now but he had no wish to cut it, he kept it pulled back in a short pony tail for now. He washed his torn up clothes and enjoyed a nice long soak in the hot tub, spending more time sleeping and resting then training. He at least could semi cook better then goten could at least to the degree that neither of them suffered from food poisoning. When it is finally time to leave the time chamber, Trunks looked at the clock then at goten. They had finally finished their training, he wondered how everyone is.

**** For the others only a day has past, where as for them a whole year has gone by. Trunks approached the doorway, on the other side Mr. Popo would have informed those stills staying on the lookout that they are coming out. The door would open slowly, a blinding white light would bathe both him and goten as they stepped through the threshhold leading from that dimension to the real world. Trunks is older, and he far more powerful then he was when he went in. He looks as though he would fit right into a rock band. The light faded as he stepped away from the time chamber, and his eyes would fall on his friends, and on Amara...
