Today was a bloody awful day at school. It seemed like everyone was fighting. There were rumours going around about some of the student bodies that really seemed like they weren't getting the whole story. I don't know most of the ghouls involved very well, but I felt very bad for them.
I should probably not have done...but I was late for Drama Class (I got my wings caught in my locker door again), and as I was walking down the coffin corridor past Headless Headmistress Bloodgood's office, I overheard that she had two students in there arguing about the rumours. I'm quite sure one of them was Clawd Wolf, and reasonably sure that the other was Spectra Vondergeist. Poor Spectra was wailing like a banshee, so you can't really blame me for overhearing. She was adamant that she would never make up such important 'information' as people's relationships, and rattled off several couples she planned on writing about in her school newspaper column tomorrow.
And-well! I tell you, she is CERTAINLY off base, at least on one of them! Glen DaWest and I are just friends! I tried to linger so I could tell her, but Mr. Hackington was scouring the hallways for students to write up and I had to rush to Drama Class.
It's utterly ridiculous to think of Glen and I as anything but jolly bloodies. I haven't even thought about dating anyone I've been so busy with schoolwork, working at the Looking Glass and Comic Club, and Glen....
Well, Glen is Glen. If Spectra really does publish that 'rumour,' I think I won't even dignify it with any response. That is the proper way to treat rumours.
