Trying to decide...it's so hard!
It was inevitable. It had to happen someday. Now here I am, making that decision...

Which Phineas Ferb songs are my all time favorites?

I'm 18 and proud to be a huge fan of this show, even though I'm not always able to tune into the new episodes on Friday. One of the characteristics that make this show awesome is its songs. Some of them, honestly, are strange...others are just down right amazing for various reasons. Not sure if I can even put the songs in an order.

"Aren't you a little old to be watching P&F?"
What do you think my answer would be?~

20.) Everything's Better with Perry
The P&F Movie: Across the Second Dimension

It has this Jackson Five vibe going on. Perhaps it's a reference?
It's fun watching Perry unresponsive while the montage of fun things they do plays.

Sitting in a chair = better with a platypus?

19.) Busted
Episode: I Scream You Scream

Epic harmony is epic.

18.) Carl, the Intern
Episode: Swiss Family Phineas

Poor Carl...at least he finally gets his own song.
The montage of Carl's duties doesn't seem to fit the hard rock theme. This is what makes it rather humorous~

17.) Robot Riot
The P&F Movie: Across the Second Dimension

Most important feature of an epic action montage: it needs musical accompaniment.

16.) Summer (Where do we begin?)
The P&F Movie: Across the Second Dimension

The changing beats in this song reflects all the things I take for granted (and don't do) during Summer.

15.) Thank You Santa Clause
Episode: Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Vacation

This song should be a Christmas classic.

14.) I Love You Mom
Episode: Mom's Birthday

I wish I had the guts to sing this to my mom on her birthday...

13.) Little Brothers
Episode: Phineas and Ferb Get Busted

Another really sweet song. You can really see the bond among those siblings.
Because "they're younger, they're related, and they're boys"~

12.) I'm Me
Episode: Vanessary Roughness

A really catchy rock song. Vanessa is a really cool character.

11.) Fabulous
Episode: Dude, We're Getting The Band Back Together

Didn't like this song that much at first, but the catchy beat got into my head.

10.) Come Home Perry
Episode: Oh, There You Are, Perry

I adore the harmonies in this song. Really shows how much the boys love their semi-aquatic friend~

9.) Danny's Story
Episode: Episode: Dude, We're Getting The Band Back Together

40 years of music history are packed into this one song. Same melody, different genres, split second costume changes, and it all links black to the blues. Pretty cool, eh?

8.) Gitchee Gitchee Goo
Episode: Flop Starz

String together a couple words that have no meaning and you've got yourself a one hit wonder that could've been a hit in the 80's. I didn't see what was so great about this song until I listened to it again.

"I'm Phineas and this is Ferb and we're gonna sing a song." So tact. I LIKE it.

7.) Ain't Got Rhythm
Episode: Episode: Episode: Dude, We're Getting The Band Back Together

My favorite from that episode. Everyone, including the ex-drummer, is unconsciously tapping out a beat using various objects. Really, REALLY catchy.

6.) Welcome to Tokyo
Episode: Summer Belongs To You

Two popular Japanese memes, the Caramelldansen and the Leek Spin, are parodied here. Heck, even the art style was parodied! Win!

Candace's comment at the end of the song really tops it off.

5.) Hey Ferb (I Know What We're Gonna Do Today)
Episode: Rollercoaster: The Musical!

Just when you thought the parodies couldn't get any better...

Drama/broadway nuts are going to love this one. A montage of the boys cosplaying as characters from scenes of 9-10 broadway hits is shown throughout the song. Can you name them all?

I got five of them right off the bat, got two of them after replaying the video, and had to look up the rest. Don't hurt me for missing the Les Miserables reference..."orz

4.) Today's Gonna Be A Great Day
Episode: Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo

It's essentially the second verse of the intro along with the chorus with a cameo from Bowling for Soup.

I prefer this version to the intro since it has a more rock-feel to it~

3.) Give Me A Grade
Episode: The Baljeatles

A rock-metal song about...wait, what? Wanting to be graded, having a syllabus, and getting an A?

Woah. It's really darn catchy. It gets really epic when it speeds up halfway into the song.

This song probably skyrocketed Baljeet's popularity.

2.) Summer Belongs To You
Episode: Summer Belongs To You

Sounds like another one of those numbers from High School Musical...not something I really cared about the first time around.

After having this song stuck in my head in my week, I finally appreciated the lyrics and the harmonies that go into this song~

It's so inspirational when you really think about it...I probably sound so corny.

1.) Kick It Up A Notch
The P&F Movie: Across the Second Dimension

Woah. WOAH. This right here is the theme I play when I do an SS/EB run or hunt giftboxes (if I'm not lagging).

Epic guitar solo + Perry playing the bass + Doof being epic + downright awesome rock = kicka** song. My vocabulary cannot do justice to the amazingness of this song.

Did I forget to mentioned that this song features Slash? Some people think this guy just gave the Disney Channel some major ego points...others think the DC ruined his image. My opinion: I don't care. Song is too awesome.
