Sometimes I say it doesn't hurt because I don't want it to. But who am I kidding, it's kinda killing me inside. With all the proper distractions, you don't even come across my mind. In that one lonely moment, or in that curious second I glance at your face, I choke. I just keep telling myself this is what I want, because it was what I wanted. There's no regret, just pretense - the littlest bit of angst where you used to be, concealed with a perfect smile.
