I've decided to leave Gaia.
Because you know. Observing a lot of adults these days, it's like the only things they do other than work are drowning themselves with cable television or something like that.
Maybe Indiana-folk are just boring as all get out. But America's dependance on technology for entertainment, communication, etc, is ridiculous.
Whatever happened to reading, using the POSTAL SERVICE AHEM AHEM and you know. Being outside? I don't know. But all those are exactly what I plan to do.
I'm quiting Gaia by changing my password to something that cannot be remembered using good ol' copy and paste. And I plan on deleting any programs that would be of any interest on this computer. AIM, MSN Messenger, Maplestory, etc, etc. Of course, not the internet, because you know. I'll still have to do school reports an' all that.
I'm getting my (rather large) TV taken out of my room along with it's cable service. Hm... and I'm selling all my video games. But I probably won't do that until next week maybe. Because I know all my friends will be all "WTF MANS WHY YOU DO THAT!??!? YOU'RE BORING NOW" which I'm sure will be true. So, I'm spending one last Neil, Me, Sam and Daniel shindig with my own games. Might as well give all my pals one last virtual whooping before I become a modern monk.
I suppose the purpose of all this is just to get down to the bare necessities(LOL, JUNGLE BOOK!??!), you know. All I really care about other than obligatory family and all that, is music and expanding my views of this world in hopes of getting people to be even just a bit less hostile towards each other, and to lighten the obsession with unnatural things that people have gotten so attached to.
Of course, I suppose I'm rather hypocritical. Because you know. In all this, I won't be getting rid of my guitar or amplifier or stereo or CDs or any of that.
Anyway. Goodbye Gaia. surprised
