Alriiight. I refuse to sleep so here's the story with my Trainer Card.
Why would you choose Flannery to represent you when your body type doesn't match at all? Geez, poser.
I've always been a Flannery girl. Dunno why. I never wanted to use any other sprite to be myself. Sure, I probably wear clothes 10 sizes larger than hers, but SHE IS MY SOUL ME. So I made her hair brown like mine.
You also changed her clothes, I see.
I have no shame in saying I am a Team Rocket person. I know that the main three we see in the anime are/were kind of lame, but I've just loved being a Rocket ever since I began considering being in a Team. Okay, that was a lie. My first team was actually Magma, but that was when I was in my fire pokemon obsession. Once I started realizing there was more to life than fire types, I decided to switch my undying loyalty to Rocket. But goodness gracious, I'm sick of the nagging thought that in the games Team Rocket disbanded. So right here, right now I AM MAKING TEAM ROCKET A LEGIT TEAM AGAIN AND WE SHALL STRIKE FEAR INTO THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE IN THE POKEMON WORLD.

Funny story. Waaay back, I participated in this roleplay where each character had a connection with a specific legendary. Well, more than one roleplay with connections. So over the years I've ruminated over all of my past roleplays and the connection thing stuck. So now I believe everyone should be born with a sort of patron pokemon. Like a patron saint but with a legendary pokemon. Mine is Zapdos. Usually each person has an affinity for the element(s) represented by the patron Pokemon. In my case, it's wind and electricity. It all works.
How come you have two different legendaries in your roster?
These six are only some of my favorites.
How come they're all 1st gen pokemon?
Again, only some of my favorites are shown. I'm likely to cycle through pokemon to show more, but then again I'm lazy. Kanto was my favorite soooo~
What other spriting-type things can you do?
I can pretty much only do recolourings. I can do limited splicing as well, but that's rare. Actually, I was going to splice my trainer sprite with Raichu instead of having it in the roster so I'd have room for another pokemon.
Why?
Well as well as a patron pokemon, all of my characters have a pokemon or a pokemon evolution family that they are associated with. Some situations, they can transform into that pokemon/any pre or post evolution form. So mine is the Pikachu family, mostly Raichu at the moment cuz I don't feel 100% cute enough to be the other two and I feel chubby enough to be a Raichu.
Anything else you want to mention?
Well. Uhm. Not really. Because the more I think, the more I wish there were more than six spaces to have pokemon. I try to chose the ones who have been my favorites for a long time, but geez. That's still hard. Like my choice for Bulbasaur was a close race between it and Vileplume. I wish I had had room enought to put Jigglypuff and Persian, and those two were just thought of as I was writing this. Just think of all the pokemon from other generations I wish I could put in my roster. crying Six pokemon alone is so cruel. Which is why, when I make the rules (mostly when I'm writing one-shots), I godmod a little so I can have more than six.
OKAY WELL IT'S ALMOST 2 AM SO I SHOULD SHUT THIS DOWN AND GET TO SLEEP OR ELSE MY PSYCHIATRIST WILL BE MAD~~
