    How would i go about making a character that uses allies/puppets/summons interchangeably?

    That's a rough question there, bud. Most shinobi tend to specialize usage in one or the other of those types of support creatures. And frankly there is a very good reason for that:

    The main reason is that due to Summons/Ally Items/Puppets being classified as support creatures and give the user an extra move, as such they can not all be used in conjunction on the same turn.
    However there are some key factors that allow a player to actually make a build that can allow them to use any of them at free will. Summons and Puppets share the similar quality of charging chakra and the more powerful they are the more chakra they will actually consume, as such players will require large amounts of Chakra and Focus in hopes to continue use of these creatures. Puppets and Ally Items share the same quality of needing large amounts of Ryo to be functional, as such this will regularly mean that you will need to be on constant missions and more constant fights to poach items. All three share the necessary characteristic of using high Intelligence to exploit them to their fullest benefit.

    A thread will be made to further delve into the Character Build to create a functional character in these aspects.
    A thread will be made to further delve into the Concepts of Item Poaching.

    What effect would putting Item combination on a puppet have? I've been looking into mixing a future puppet with my current one, but what would the exact side effects be? Which puppet would i have to pay for once combined? Would combined puppet's items also become one with the other puppet?

    I have a question about Summons: I know that summons can't focus chakra since they use your chakra supply directly. However, can they use a Group Focusing jutsu to revive you and your comrades' chakra?

    What is the correct way to use the effect "Delayed attack".

    What Effects in which are you able to put more points than the "Required Limit" to boost the max outcome of the jutsu potency? one being Disable.

    Well that was interesting. For some reason my comments have been going up... Lets try this again.

    @DenShazo15-
    Well that is a very interesting question. The following would happen if you were to Item Combine two puppets together:
    1) You would have to pay for both sustain costs.
    2) All effects placed on the puppets would be combined, such as Puppet Rebuilding and Puppet Channeling.
    3) The combined puppet would have a total of 8 items that would be chosen from the item sets of combined puppets.
    4) All normal rules of Item Combination would apply.

    @InuVash255-
    Well, you answered your own question their, bud~ Summons can't focus chakra and as such they have no Focus stat. So to answer your question, no they can not Group Focus cause they can't Focus in general.

    @Fluffy_Aizen-
    The correct way of using "Delayed Attack" is to use it as a way to extend your Combo Limit. If you place that effect on an attack and sustain it without actually releasing it, you can release it on a further time to attack an opponent without actually taking any space in your combo limit.

    As for your second question, can you please rephrase that?

    This has been your Favorite Grunt~

    I was looking up buffs and noticed that you could buff potency. The thing is I have no idea what that does... I know the literal definition but not sure how it'd be used in the system so mind explaining it for me?

    Well Potency has relatively confused most players and that is simply because it is one of the newest concepts in the guild. In the past when a player would Debuff or Stun another player the PC to break out of it was the same PC as it was to dodge it, which usually meant that if you were hit, that was the end of the story for you.

    However, Potency has changed that. The purpose of Potency is a few seperate things. First and foremost, it is split amongst Offensive and Passive, Universal covering both.

    Offensive Potency:
    1) It's main use is for the Difficulty Check of breaking out of a debuff. For example:
    You hit an opponent with a Debuff-Accuracy. For them to break out of it, it will be a check of
    THEIR: Will Power(2) + Will Power Buff(2) + Resistance Buffs + Innate + Perks vs YOUR Seal Str/Str (Depending on it's style) + YOUR Seal Str/Str Buff (Depending on it's style) + Level of the Jutsu + Offensive Potency

    2) The secondary use of it revolves around the capability to pierce through a player's defense. By that, I mean a player can successfully defend your attack but if your Offensive Potency beats their Defense's Potency, IE Passive Potency, your attack will still deal half Damage. More will be explained on this aspect before the exams as... Sssssssh, SaiCorps has secret info that there will be an announcement shall be made on new developments!

    Passive Potency:
    1) The only point of this type of Potency is to counter-act the chances of a player being able to attack through your defense. Like I previously mentioned... keep a look out for that announcement!
    Keeping it real~

    When making a potency check it is said that if your opponent's offensive potency is higher than your defensive you subtract it from your own and add the result to your PC, the total being how much more you'd have to succeed by.

    What if the opposite were true? Suppose your defensive potency was higher than your opponent's offensive potency. What would that cause?

    Well first and foremost, when your opponent's potency is higher then yours during your defense you do not HAVE to roll that much more to succeed. So long as you beat the PC on your roll you defend against the attack, this is simply how much more you have to succeed by to avoid taking Pierce Damage, or rather half the damage on the attack.

    Now to address your question, when your potency is higher then the attack potency the result is you automatically don't have to worry about taking Pierce Damage of any sort.

    Well yeah I thought i'd ask for any tips or advices on how i should progress with a character that I was thinking would be mostly taijutsu based, but with a certain degree of skill in ninjutsu aswell mostly seen as a supplement to his taijutsu

    @Den- Good medics tend to have a high amount of Intelligence, Strength, Chakra Focusing and Chakra. You will want to run Resistance/Heal/Medicate/Stat buffs as well as Heal/Group Focusing/Buffs(for allies)/Protection(For you and team) techs/items. Also if you want to continue with a chance of still being combat capable, running high potency and capping your accuracy(assuming you are Taijutsu, you Agility should be lower then normal due to your high strength) to have the highest chance of pierce.

    @Ergho- Well that is a rather vague so its much harder to answer. In basics you will want to have moderate amounts of chakra, your Ninjutsu stats shouldn't mean much if all you plan to do with Ninjutsu is buff yourself. As such a general rule of thumb is for every 5pts of Int you have, have 1pt of Chakra. It will prove that each technique you have, you will have a decent enough supply of chakra to maintain yourself for a 4 or 5 turns while running all your skills [Something that you will find yourself only doing when you're are going all out and as such the fight will only last a 2 or 3 turns].

    I hope that tidbit of info helped you two~

    Well thanks for that amount of help, and yeah mainly ninjutsu to buff/protect myself in someways as the taijutsu would be the mainfocus but it helped a bit to understand what somethings would be good and so smile
