I have lived in my new apartment for approximately one month now. It still doesn't quite feel like home yet, but I'm working on it. Every now and again I get that "On a vacation in Seattle hotel-room" feeling when going to bed, which fills me with a distinct glee, I can't shake off for a few hours. It's fantastic.

In regards to my studio, Its no where near set up. Its got most of the things in place, but I do believe it will not be their permanent home. I am excited for April. I will be getting most of my supplies ordered. All my chemicals, Ultrasonic cleaner, and most of my equipment. I will still need to place an order in at Kurosumi for my inks, but that can wait. For curiosity's sake, I will also be guinea-pig-ing the anesthetic Xylocain, from china. I wonder how the shock would develop in someone who had a low pain tolerance, but could not feel it? Hmm. I suppose I'll find out eventually. Though, If it works like it should, It'll help me tough out some of the more painful spots when I'm working on myself. I think I'll be having troubles when I reach my sternum or neck. Forsee more problems with my stenum rather than neck though. Boney and irritating.

On the 23rd of next month I will be waving around my portfolio at another session. Not mine, but one of my managers. Either way I am excited to see how that will go. A little nervous. But even If I get rejected I'll get some good feedback or criticism, and get to sit in on a session. Speaking of portfolio, I really need to get on it. @w@ I've been waiting to get my drafting table in, but I haven't been able to find someone with free time and a large truck. Without an adequate surface I've just been putting the whole thing off. I don't have any finalized designs I'd use for showing off, every one of them will need to have a few copies done in pen before I'd think of showing them off. Grah. I have a lot of work I should complete, but have simply been putting it off. I really should work on it.

What else. In regards to the what, three role plays now? I apologize for the delay in responses. Each one has its own excuse. A mixture of my life interfering. The disappointment that some people haven't posted for A MONTH and the wavering "why should I continue If I'm the only one trying?" or just simply not being 'in that place'. If I can't 'get into character' there's no way I can regurgitate a reply. It will be total, and utter crap, completely unlike the character it is suppose to be.
