Day 1: When I woke up it was rainning and I went back to sleep. 2 or 3 hours later, it slowed down a bit, and I learned there was a shower next to the bathroom. (Last night when I arivved I saw there was a lanudry room next to the bathroom.) Now that the rain has stopped, me and my mom set up camp. First we set up our tent, next we set up the kitchen and after that we put our bed and stuff in the tent, while we put our food and stove in the kitchen. My mom cooked us some breakfast and it was good. After breakfast, my mom and me went walking around and we saw some intresting things, a swimming pool with a souvner store(sorry about my spelling and it was closed at the time) A big lake with a small exibit of the camp and its history, and a turtle on the road. After our walk, we went to the dollor general store to get some more stuff, and this time I got the stuff I need for the smores.(gram crackers, chocolate and marshmellows) On our way back, we saw a snake on the road, and at the forest we saw some wild turkeys going in the forest. Back at the campsite, my mom had a bible study, I gone with her with a pickle in my mouth, but my feet we killing me from all that walking. I forgot to get the metal sticks for the marshmellows, but I asked on of the church members do they have one, and they said yes. But before I began to make the smores, I saw a cat and so did the kids and they pet the cat, and we had to wash our hands before we start. So after I washed my hands I placed the marshmellow on the metal stick and cooked the marshmellow in the campfire. Once the marshmellow got done and a little burnt, I put the marshmellow on the chocolate on top of the gram cracker, next I sandwich the gram cracker on the marshmellow and I at it, and it was pretty good everyone like it and wanted the my smores. mrgreen After that we had dinner, and I went to bed.
