I've decided to write out a guide of the different vampire levels for the benefit of those in the battle rp who may not be familiar with the anime/manga series Vampire Knight.

Level A/ Pureblood: Pureblood vampires are vampires without a single drop of human blood in thier heritage. They are the only vampires able to turn humans into vampires, and also posess the ability to control all other vampires at will. Pureblood vampires generally posess one or more special abilities such as the ability to levitate rocks or shatter glass with a thought. Pureblood vampires are exceptionally difficult to kill as they can survive most injuries and a vampire hunters bullet can only supress thier self-healing abilities. Purebloods also have some level of ability at healing others.

In the battle rp both Nicole Gerton and her dopple are pureblood vampires.

Level B/ Noble Class: Noble vampires have only a very small amount of human blood in thier heritage. Like purebloods, noble vampires also have special abilites. Noble vampires are not quite as strong as purebloods but are still difficult to kill. Both purebloods and noble vampires have the ability to erase memories.

Level C/ Common Vampire:Common vampires have a significant amount of human blood in thier heritage, probably 1/2 or more. Common vampires have no special abilites, and are nearly the lowest class of vampire society though they have no say in vampire government.

Level D/ Former Human: Level D's are humans that have become vampires due to being bitten by a pureblood vampire. They have no special abilites apart from a slightly higher level of strength, speed, stamina, and senses than that of a human. Level D's, like the classes of vampire above them, also posses accelerated healing, allowing them to survive most severe injuries. Level D's are the lowest class of vampire society and serve as servants, slaves, or food to the pureblood and noble classes.

In the battle rp Rahvine Dalmira, her dopple, and the dopple of Zero Kiryu are level D's.

Level E/ End level: All Level D's eventually lose thier minds irrepairably to blood lust and begin killing indiscriminately, unless while still at Level D they are allowed to drink blood from the pureblood vampire that turned them. Otherwise a Level D vampire eventually becomes a Level E. Once a vampire falls to level E they are either killed by the pureblood or noble that accepts responsibility for them or escape and are placed on the Vampire Hunters execution lists.

And although they are not vampires the role of Hunters plays a part as well...

Vampire Hunters: Vampire Hunters are humans that keep vampire society hidden from the human world. The role of vampire hunter passes through the family line of a human ancestor who in the distant past drank the blood of a vampire, thus gaining a level of strength slightly above that of the human norm allowing them to more effectively fight vampires. This however is a closely held secret which no one outside the vampire hunters Association is aware of.
When Vampire Hunters first came into existance thier role was simply to cut down on the number of vampires in existance. However later as vampires became fewer and more withdrawn from public knowledge the role of vampire hunter changed slightly. At this time Hunters began acting in the role of bounty hunters who track down and kill level E vampires who have escaped their master. Despite this Hunters do not work for the vampire goverment.

Although Rahvine Dalmira is a vampire hunter she does not come from a Hunter family. She is the first person to become a hunter without being from a Hunter family. She was trained by Zero Kiryu who came from a long line of vampire hunters.
