Hello, I am sorry but this sucks, two decent things and then this? This is the raping of a really good series. This movie is horrible. Now I am glad to announce that I do not own this movie it is owned by Lionsgate, and they can keep this piece of crap that they call a movie. I am going to keep this a PG as possible but it has been as hard as freaking hell. Alright then let us try to get through the piece of crap, I am reviewing for the last review of this week, Highlander, the source.
Now I had heard about this movie and had heard complaints about it before I watched it. Now I love highlander, in my opinion it was one of the great television shows and had really good movies as well. From research I found that there are novels, comics, and even an animated series as well. I watched the television series with my grandmother and loved it. The swordplay the story everything was just awesome, then I get to watch this piece of crap that takes all of that and puts it through the pig pin and covers it in crap! I think I finally have found the something to push me over the edge. I finally admit it, I have finally died inside. Let me tell you why I say this.
Acting 5/10:
Ok for the most part the acting was good. I was not really wowed by it but I really cannot say I hated it. If anything it was the best part of the movie. They at least played there parts right and the actors really seemed to capture the characters. I gave it a 5/10 because I was so neutral on it.

Length 4/10:
If you are wondering why this movie got such a low score here it is because the movie is short and seems to be freaking cut off, around halfway through the movie everything seemed to jump and the characters started to act different and everything seemed like I missed something important. The length of the movie did not seem to match the story at all. I really feel that I have wasted the last hour and half of my life. I gave it a 4/10 just because it seemed so short that I feel the story suffered because of it.

Storyline 2/10:
This sucked; I mean the story made no sense. First of all society just suddenly turned to cannibalism and hell? Why? If you are wondering why, the movie does not explain how. It just states that the world has gone to hell and that is that. The Source whatever the hell it is, because guess what! That is not freaking explained either! Almost nothing was explained! Duncan is freaking emo, why who knows he just is. The guardian has supernatural powers that are beyond the normal immortals, why? Because he is the guardian, that is the best this freaking piece of crap can provide us. Not to mention halfway through the movie the immortals lose their immortality, that is one of the main reasons we watch Highlander in the first freaking place. The other reasons the awesome swordplay, which was cheapified and screwed all the freaking way to hell! They barely freaking fight and all they did was swing their swords back and forth like freaking amateurs! SOME MASTERS OF THE FUC….(Please excuse us while we calm The Knight of Five Down, until further notice we play nice calming music and do not listen to the estranged man in the background) (Calming Music starts playing.) (Random cursing and yelling in background for many hours.) (We now return you to the review, if you are wondering how we stopped him from cursing, we showed him a picture of his Niece and friend of interest.) Sorry about that had a breakdown. Now were where we? Oh yes. Everything was overdone and most the characters just seemed to have been destroyed in some way or another. I give this movie a 2/10 for story because it FUC… oh look a picture of my niece, is she not the cutest thing.

Characters 3/10:
As you know from the last section they royally screwed the characters up. Duncan is emo and so negative that I think he may be an isotope… I know really bad science joke stop booing, but if they are not going to try then neither am I. I think they just made a story that was sort of like Highlander and put the characters In and said let us screw them over because people will see or buy this movie because it is highlander. The villain sucked and had powers that do not exist in the Highlander universe. Immortals are supposed to have NORMAL HUMAN SPEED AND HE WAS RUNNING AROUND LIKE HE WAS THE FREAKING FLASH, WHAT THE FUC... Oh hey look a picture of my friend of interest, man she is pretty, and a great personality to boot, which is more than I can say for the characters of this movie. 3/10 next!

Effects 1/10:
Ok these were bad, they were cheap and bad. My assistant already has both pictures ready just waiting for me to snap so I am just going to say that they were cheesy. The guardians, as much as I hate to say it, super speed was just a really bad blurry movement that made him look stupid. The only good effect the entire movie had was the one quickening in the movie and they almost screwed it up. The explosions were really lame as well and appeared in really odd spots. So I give this movie a 1/10, let us move on then shall we.

Predictability 5/10:
Ok this part was not too bad, I did see things coming but not from a mile away or anything. So I give it a 5/10 because yeah I saw things coming but not from way too far away, and it is true the movie never caught me off guard but it was not flashing away its surprises with a neon Vegas sign either.
Overall : 3/10
This was crap, pure and simple. By the way another thing to think about, the rules were mentioned as side notes. The game was barely mentioned, which is the main freaking plot of highlander, oh and the gathering, yeah that is never mentioned at all, another great Highlander point gone with the wind, and it cannot have happened because there were many FUC… wow they pulled out both of them that is pretty impressive. So the movie sucked and was not worth the time to watch it. If you want some good highlander action watch one of the other movies or the television series.
Well that is the end of this week. Two really good reviews and one really bad one, I hope you enjoyed listen to me rant about how crappy this movie was.
