I looked at her and I smiled. “Well I was looking at some strange tracks when out of the blue I heard that girl scream that’s when I helped her.”
“Oh and what about this engagement thing she was saying?”- She handed me some boxes to store in the attic.
“I have no idea what she meant by that all I know is that I never agreed to marry her nor she ever said anything about that matter while I was taking her to town.”- I said taking the box and putting it away. “Although she was rather clingy on our way here and for some reason she kept calling me ‘darling’ even after I told her to stop.”- I climbed down the stairs, closing the attic door behind me. “That’s what I don’t understand.”- sitting down on the stairs I looked up.
“So she is confused, don’t worry Zack I’m sure you’ll set things straight with her.”- She said holding my head gently in her arms.
“Ahem!”- We turned to see Tina’s father. “I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything?”
“No you didn’t sir we where just talking, did you want something from the both of us?”- I said.
“Yes as a matter of fact there is Zack. There is a young woman looking for you out front.”- He pointed towards the bakery’s front.
“Great she fallowed me here.”- I sighed as I got up and headed to the front.
“Is everything ok Zack? That girl seems troubled?”- Paul asked.
“Everything is fine sir, she just had a very traumatic day I’ll go see what she needs.”- I said with an assuring smile but in reality I had no idea what I was going to do about her.
As I entered the reception of the house/bakery I say Aneka looking at the various kinds of breads, cupcakes, and cakes I realized that she isn’t really to blame for this after all it’s not her fault nor did she planed it.
“Find anything you like?”- I asked with a smile.
“Darling you are here!”- She looks at me, quickly approaches me and grabs me by the arm. “I missed you, why did you leave me back there?”
“I have asked you many times not to call me that please.”- I complained and got free form her grip. “I’m sorry I left you alone that was rude of me even thought you said some really weird things back there.”
