My Own Thoughts on My Heart
A weird beast it is. Moving from bush to bush to hide from people, but when it is caught by the eye of some other beast it rolls over and practically screams "pet me!" It never rests and is always looking for a companion. Little does this beast know that looking can cause great pain and sorrow. This beast looks and looks and looks...but sadly it never seems to find anything it truly likes. Then when something finally catches its eyes, it runs up and again rolls over. This strange beast pets it and rolls over as well. Something happens and the two beasts are happy. Then they suddenly are separated by something neither can control. The beast then tries to replace the other beast with others, but that void just doesn't fill up. The beast soon forgets the other beast and moves on and now it is constantly looking for a companion. More keep coming but the beast just doesn't see anything worth keeping. Picky yet very loving, this beast is my heart, only once has it loved...but it has become addicted to that feeling. A feeling with which can not be explained by words or actions. A feeling that isn't beaten by anything.
