Today I woke up feeling quite peculiar. The new year is here, everything seems renewed, and yet I feel strange. There is a strange feeling coming from my back... I wander over to the mirror and examine it closely. I'm not quite sure how, but there appear to be wings growing from my shoulder blades. They aren't particularly large, perhaps they are still growing... The feathers are black and soft, much like a new bird's. I feel no different apart from the wings, but it would probably be best for me to keep a log of these happenings. One can never be sure what will happen and when one needs to reference something from the past.
