XIII Sword Techniques

I: Ignis Acies (Fire Edge)

Ignites the blade of the XIII Sword with a living flame that grants the ability to incorporate fire element attacks into Zander’s arsenal.

II: Celer Lacerare (Swift Slash)

With the blade sheathed, the swordsman dashes towards his opponent with great speed, then as soon as the opponent is within range, the swordsman unsheathes their sword and strikes so fast that the attack is near impossible to block or parry.

III: Sonus Separare (Sonic Sever)

Sends high-frequency sonic waves that can slice through almost anything at the opponent.

IV: Vastus Trudere (Immense Thrust)

Thrusts the sword with immense power, and sends a shockwave outward from the thrust for long range use.

V: Pruina Morsus (Frost Bite)

The blade becomes coated with living ice that can fire shards of ice, or freeze anything it comes into contact with.

VI: Lumin Radius (Electric Ray)

The blade becomes electrically charged, and can fire rays of electricity out at the opponent, as well as electrocute anything it cuts.

VII: Vertere Contra (Turn Against)

The ultimate magical/energy counter; the XIII Sword’s blade transforms into a magical material that can reflect back any magical/energy attack that is sent at him, no matter what the attribute.

VIII: Quies Impetere (Silent Assail)

When this technique is used, no sound is emitted from anything that the caster does, and the caster is also invisible for a short amount of time. If used efficiently, this is one of the most deadly techniques of the XIII Sword.

IX: Novem Laedo (Nine Strike)

When this technique is used, the wielder of the XIII Sword rushes at the opponent with immense speed, and in a split second, attacks the opponent from nine directions at once: The upper left quadrant, the upper quadrant, the upper right quadrant, the middle right quadrant, the middle quadrant, the middle left quadrant, the lower left quadrant, the lower quadrant, and the lower right quadrant.

X: Ascendere Virtus (Ascending Virtue)

Imbues the wielder of the XIII Sword with angelic wings, for if their opponent is out of reach. The blade also becomes attributed with holy magic, causing great pain to any harm it does to the undead, or the evil of heart.

XI: Aera Khaos (Era of Chaos)

The XIII Blade separates into thirteen different blades, creating copies of the wielder to hold them as well; all of them are identical in every way, including the powers they have.

XII: Ultimare Poena (Ultimate Pain)

A deadly technique for the wielder of the XIII Sword to use, the technique takes all the pain and suffering reflected in the wielder’s heart, and forms it into a non-elemental energy that covers the blade. Every time the opponent is cut by the blade, their mind and feelings are connected to the pain and suffering that the wielder endured, wracking the opponent’s mind with grief and can lead them to insanity.

XIII: Damnare Anima (Inflict Loss of Mind)

The last known technique of the XIII Sword; A special sword technique that when invoked, the blade shimmers with a radiant light, and any that gaze upon it will lose their memory for a temporary amount of time.

XIV: Perdere Omnis (Destroy All)

One of the two lost techniques of the XIII Sword; Perdere Omnis causes the XIII Sword to gather energy from everything around it before glowing with destructive energy. Then, the wielder holds the blade outward to aim the tip of the blade at the intended target, and a blast of pure destructive energy is released upon saying the name of the technique again. Anything caught in its wake will be destroyed.

XV: Aeternus Finis (Eternal End)

The other hidden technique of the XIII Sword; Aeternus Finis can only be used once, because it kills the user after it has served its purpose.
