She hates this world and everything in it, all she wishes is to see it burn in ever living flame. Yuna was a demon with a soul of sorrow and hate, a mere pon of her elder brother Sephiroth in his plans to turn the world to an never ending chaos.
The Past
Once evil roamed freely on this land over powering the light until The Goddess of The Holy Realm sent a babe whom would once more return the Earth to its one time beauty. With her power she would smite the evil of that world and rule it as a vessal of the Goddess herself.
To protect this young child The Goddess sent one of her strongest war angels Vincent to watch over the child whom would always be the target of evil unable to defend herself until her powers awakened. From the beginning of Yunas birth the threat of evil hung in the air in the form of her elder brother Sephiroth whom at every turn, even as a boy, sought to kill his half sister the only threat to his plan of a perfect world of chaos. Yet always watchful Vincent saved Yuna every time.
He should have removed her from the home, but he wished the girl to have a normal life for a time before her burden was laid upon her. That was one of their down falls, the other happened on Yunas 13 birthday when Vincents ice cold heart was broken by the young girls loveliness and turned to love. Which he struggled to hide, out of fear of what would happen and disobeyment to the Goddess.
Yet fate was against him and Yuna found him out all to easily. Years past and the bound between guardian and charge turned into an ever burning love, one which seemed to over power any other thing on the face of this Earth. Yunas own powers along with that of Vuncets seem to be enough to face any evil of this world. All but one, Sephritoh a brother Yuna loved deeply as well whom preteneded to share her feelings.
Waiting for the day to strike out at both Vincent and Yuna. That day would be their wedding day, twice a special day for Yuna not only would she be a bride but she would tell Vincent that both of them would be parents as well.
Sadly all would end in folly. Spehiroth fakinging his own death framing Vincent as the murder. Horrifed beyond grief Yuna ran to a cliff where she stood grieving not notcing as her brother went up behind her pushing her from the ledge where Vincent found her later and barried her before in his own grief attacking a village forcing them to take his life.
Now Time
A new vessal of the Goddess had been born a woman named Aerith the suppose to be reincatation of Yuna, yet the one time Summoners hatered will not let her past soul rest or her powers to come. Aerith herself is in love with her own Gaurdain Cloud the rebirth of Vincent who has sworn to protect her with her life.
Seeing the two lovers once more awakens Yunas pain and with the prompting of Sephrioth she seeks out to kill Aerith in any way possible only to have another surpise reveled when out of Cloud comes Vincent. Trying with all his heart to awaken Yuna to the truth of her brothers illisions. Yuna denies everything, refusing to belive her lovers words as the past still haunts her greatly. Instead she allows her powers to grow, and possess Aeirth forcing the girl to go to The Holy Temple and begin to speak the words of ending.
It is only through Cloud, Vincent, Aeriths own love that can save Yuna and seal away Sephiroth forever.
