My first Fan Story!

The enterprising thief crept among the dim lit corridors of the National Bank, pausing for a moment to look around. Adrenaline was high and the thief was nervous, oh so nervous. This was it. This was going to be the biggest heist in the history of heists. One sweet little key. Four Billion in shining gold bars. The entire vault would be empty. He'd make newspapers. He'd be rich, RICH. Oh how the word tasted so sweet on his tongue. He tried it out silently for a while. And the genius of the thing was- no one would know about it. No one would realize it was stolen, not until he'd be hundreds of miles away in another country, somewhere on the other side of the globe. The greatest operation in history. Of course, he had a partner. They'd agree to split it. Grim breathed in slowly, and then out.

Quickly Grim went over the map of the bank in his head. Okay. The guard just walked by, that means that it'll be clear for approximately 15 minutes. The thief noiselessly slunk from column to column, hiding in shadows. First he had to get into the high security section of the bank. Luckily, he had a high security guard's uniform, having stolen it from him when he was off in a brothel. The guards in this bank weren't supposed to go to those places, so the guy had already an alibi and everything worked out, perfect for the thief. The thief just needed the high security card, something that the guard had thought to leave. So now, it was time to wait. He watched a guard come out of the section. It was Mr. Munteran. Perfect. The thief quietly filched the card key from the sleeve without so much as a rustle of cloth. Munteran did not notice. The thief chuckled silently. The reason why he knew Mr. Munteran was because Grim had been watching everything for a long time. Munteran was imfamous for losing things, particularly his high security card key. Grim pulled on the stolen guards uniform and practiced assuming that guard's posture and voice. He also had a list of things the guard knew. All set. Grim strolled into the high security section, whistling as the guard usually did. Okay. He casually stopped in front of the vault he was about to break in, pretending to talk on the phone. This part, he couldn't do in a disguise. The next shift was coming around the corner in 5 minutes, and they were constantly going to be around. What to do... what to do... hm. The thief grinned inwardly.

The thief threw a small rock tied with string, knocking over the porcelain vase. He quickly retrieved the rock as the guards came running. Grim hastily went inside a closet and bound himself. The disguised thief thumped on the door frantically. A guard opened the closet door, worried, saying, "Oh God Brent, what happened?" The guard untied Grim. Grim gasped, "Thief! Went over there!" and pointed in the opposite direction of the vault. "COME ON!" yelled the guard. Grim followed, melding with the crowd of guards until they left the area, and then took of his uniform and hid it in a vase. The thief ran silently, hastily made his way to the vault. It was a complex lock, but it was no match for the thief, extremely skilled at opening locks. He opened it, and slipped in, shutting it silently behind him. Grim froze, feeling a little strange heat near his nose. He used the spray to carefully spray the surrounding area. Beyond the door were invisible lasers. Tons of lasers, and one that was less than an inch from his nose. Grim slid to the floor carefully against the door and stayed still for a moment, gauging how he would do this. there were several trap tiles. The thief breathed in slowly. And then he jumped. Backflipping, sliding, and flipping, the thief bypassed all the lasers through tiny gaps. Finally, he was at the other side. Here was a door. Fingerprint huh? Grim grinned. For this purpose, he had a cast made. The thief bypassed it, and opened the complicated next two locks. Finally, he was in.

The thief gaped at the shining gold before him. It was a mountain of gold. Every person's private dream. Grim took a while just to look at it and sigh with pleasure. Grim got to work. Taking one end of the canvas, he carefully put it underneath all of the gold. Five minutes until its time. Grim climbed up to the ceiling. At the same time, the loud church bells started ringing, filling the air with a loud din. The thief used the sound to cover up the sound of the special drill to drill through the ceiling. Three helicopters descended, controlled by the thief's partner in crime, Ted. Ted made the helicopters drop the line, and Grim attached it to the ends of the canvas. Grim walked onto the top of the mountain of gold and gave a thumbs up. and Ted lifted them up into the air.

The thief flew above the city, laughing. Ted disguised the canvas by putting up a bright flashing thing between the helicopters that was an advertisement. The canvas also had an advertisement on it. They landed inconspicuously at an old factory. The two split the gold, then piled it into briefcases, and put it in stuffed animals.

Grim snuck inside his house and slept.

The next three days the thief used to get all the way on the other side of the world, a fortune in gold concealed within his belongings.
Three months later, the heist got into the newspapers. It had been found out much earlier, but concealed for it was thought to be the fault of a certain congressman the thief and his partner had cunningly framed. All the way on the other side of the globe, in a corrupt country, the thief relaxed in a large mansion.

He was the thief that pulled of the greatest heist of the century.
