My life...
This journal is about my life...
The books I have read, and currently looking forward to...
こんいちわ!今日は私はとなりの日本人と話しました。どきどきだった。でも、キャーかわいいむすこがいました。名前がわすれました、すみません!
Well then, here is Part Two of the books I have read, and currently looking forward to. On the last post I forgot to mention the books I am looking forward to. T-T Well then, from the Georgina Kinkaid series I am waiting for Succubus Shadows. There is no book cover and the release date has not been decided. I ordered Thorn Queen from Dark Swan (Eugenie Markham) series, and it comes out in August 4th. Lastly, we have Blood Promise coming out August 25th with Rose Hathaway.
Now I am going to talk about my favorite author Karen Chance's books. First up we have Touch the Dark, followed by Claimed by Shadow, Embrace the Night and Curse the Dawn. Here we have Cassandra Palmer, a mortal who can see ghosts and the past and the future, but as time goes by her powers alter and become more powerful. Now, she can visit the past, and change it any way she can, but of course, being a good soul she wants to leave the past be. We also have a smokin' master vampire and Senate member (very powerful) Mircea Basarab. Then we have Demon Hunter/War mage (powerful too) John Pritkin. Who will she end up with? My biggest question.
Here is the passage from the back jacket:

Cassandra Palmer can see the future and communicate with spirits-talents that make her attractive to the dead and the undead. The ghosts of the dead aren't usually dangerous; they just like to talk...a lot. The undead are another matter.

Like any sensible girl, Cassie tries to avoid vampires. But when the bloodsucking Mafioso she escaped three years ago finds Cassie again with vengeance on his mind, she's forced to turn to the vampire Senate for protection. The undead senators won't help her for nothing, and Cassie finds herself working with one of their most powerful members, a dangerously seductive master vampire-and the price he demands may be more than Cassie is willing to pay...
(I did not write this)

The second series is about Dorina Basarab (guess who's daughter, and if you know the father than you know the heritage (Hint: Lady vampires can't reproduce) that means Dory is a dhampir) She hates her father, she is scared of no one except, her infamous uncle Dracula. Will she able to stay with Louise-Cesare or with a Fey King?
Here's a summary from the back (I did not write this)

Dorina Basarab is a dhampir—half-human, half-vampire. Subject to uncontrollable rages, most dhampirs live very short, very violent lives. So far, Dory has managed to maintain her sanity by unleashing her anger on those demons and vampires who deserve killing.

....Now Dory’s vampire father has come back into her life. Her uncle Dracula (yes, the Dracula) infamous even among vampires for his cruelty and murderous ways, has escaped his prison. And her father wants Dory to work with the gorgeous master vampire Louis-Cesare to put him back there.
....Vampires and dhampirs are mortal enemies, and Dory prefers to work alone. But Dracula is the only thing on earth that truly scares her, and when Dory has to go up against him, she’ll take all the help she can get…

Yep. That is all for today, well except that I am waiting for the next book featuring Dorina called Death's Mistress. Have to wait sooo long it comes out in January, 2010!!!!!!!!!!!! God&(*&^%$ So much to wait, well patience has its own rewards, I suppose. That is all.
