The moon shines its light through my blinds on this weary night
The stars in the sky look as if they’re fading
One by one it looks as if they’re falling
A world without light is a world without life
With no life there is no hope
If there is no light hope is unobtainable
As for the moon its light is growing more dim
Candles begin to flicker
Lights go off all around me
A world without hope is a world without dreams
With no dreams there is no will to carry on
If there is no hope will is a dead language
Its 8:00 in the morning and the sun is nowhere to be seen
The goddess of imaginary light refuses to shine on our dying city
Monsters of the night lurk around every corner
A world without light is a world without life
A world without hope is a world without dreams
A world without you would be the end of me
You are my light
