“This is something neither of us can control.” I said.
“I know but I still like to hope that we have a chance of living out in the real world and not this computer place.” Replied my brother. He walked across the room and looked out the window, “will you ever see what the outside world really looks like and remember it?” My brother often asks that question, we’ve been captive here since my birth. I don’t even know where here is. I move my arm from my eyes and stair at the roof over our heads, the ceiling made of complete steel. That’s all that surrounds us. Steel. All of a sudden there is a pounding sound that sounds like it’s coming from outside our room.
“Brother?”
“You heard that to?” he walks over to the steel door and puts he’s ear to it. The next thing I hear is a big boom. I jumped up to quickly so my eyesight turns black, I can’t see a thing. “Leanna!!!”
“Brother! Where are you? I can’t see anything. Only smoke.” I got no reply. “Brother?” I said in a worried voice. I walked out the bedroom door and peeked around the corner. No one was there so I continued to walk down the hallways. All the doors were open, no one was in them not even in Sky’s room, and she wasn’t even there. Where is my brother? Where is Sky?
Don’t worry about them right now sweetie. You need to get out of there!
“Who is down there?” one of the guards yelled.
Run!!!!
I don’t know whom that voice belonged to, but I don’t have time to worry about that. I need to get out of here! So I ran, and kept running till I busted through big doors and a big gust of air hit me in the face. It smelled clean, like nothing I’ve ever smelled before. I open my eyes and quickly close them again because the sun was too bright. “Oh my gosh SUN!!” I open my eyes and just stood there in awe. I’m finally seeing the thing I’ve only heard stories about.
