Relationships
So, here's the scenario, my friend "Katie" is living in Pittsburgh becase that's where her college is. Her boyfriend "Josh" is still here in California. They started going out in December and that's when Tadashi and I started talking.

He and I have become pretty good friends, though we have only hung out twice, we usually talk every day and for the past three days have stayed up until 2 or 3 am video chatting. It's a lot of fun and he's awesome to hang out with, but I know where my boundaries are because he's my best friend's boyfriend, but lately he's been asking "what would happen if I were single?" because he knows I don't have a boyfriend. I have told him many times that I wouldn't date him because he was with my best friend.

But I'm starting to doubt myself. Would I go out with him? If it weren't for a sense of moral obligation to Katie, would I allow myself to like him?

That is tough. I 've never had to deal with that.... Three options though. Stand by your moral obligation to your friend, Ask the friend about the prospect, Or just go for it and hope they don't have a vodoo doll of you somewhere. sweatdrop But I say long distance relationships don't last or end well.

Not totaly correct, I'm afraid to say... ^_^ Long ranged relationships can actually grow even better than normal ones... It's important, though, that the couple leave that very clear to each other and that both of them are willing to do it...

With new technologies all over the world, it's easier to find a person that really matches you...There are even sites that do that... Though their intention is not the best, they promote long-ranged relationships... Which I find just fantastic...

It's the new age's relationship type... To know someone now and only get to see each other for real in years ahead... I guess it's just a matter of time 'till the world sees it... rolleyes

I should probably mention that these two actually met in person and she had to leave to go to college. They did not meet online.
