Loneliness
Smiling white teeth
Glimmering hazel eyes
Happy, lighthearted laugh
Unable to realize
“Everything’s alright,
I will be okay.”
But is it always true
The words we hear her say?
Closed up in her room
She falls onto her bed
Face down into the sheets
So many tears are shed
Remembering her past
In solitude she cries
No one ever consoles her
They never see past her lies
