New Moon's Eclipse
Prelogue
Firu stared out the windows of his classroom. In the background the teacher was trying to explain something, but Firu didn't care since he already studied all of it already. It was a dreary day outside as the rain fell and streaked the windows with a cold sweat. He couldn't wait till the end of class so he could just leave so he didn't have to deal with these people anymore. Finally the bell rang and he rushed out of the classroom and past the drones of people that stood around and talked about what they were doing on the weekend. He finally got to his locker and there he met up with his friends.
"So what are you guys planning on doing for the weekend?" Firu asked the others.
"Probably just hang out at Reba’s place." Misheru responded for herself and Rebekka.
"What are you planning on doing?" Rebekka asked Firu.
"Same old, same old. Go around and kill everybody." He said sarcastically and playfully.
"Really?" Misheru asked wide-eyed.
Firu nearly burst out laughing because of her response. "No. Why would I kill a bunch of people?" He asked Misheru.
"For fun, or because you're a homicidal maniac, or....." Misheru listed.
"Well, don't worry. I won't be killing anyone. Have fun girls." He said as he headed to catch his bus.
Maybe this weekend won't be as bad. Firu thought to himself as he put his earphones in and sat on the bus that took forty minutes to get him home. When he finally got home, it was beginning to get dark outside. He only had time to have some supper, and then he went to bed.
That night he had a weird dream about running through a forest and fighting with animals and people. He saw himself being slashed across his face. When he woke up the next morning, his face felt like it was bleeding but when he slid his hand where it felt moist, there was nothing but a little bump. He sighed in relief and got up to embrace the day.
(I know this isn't a lot but bear with me.)
