Don't be surprised. This IS my happy face: || //Melfina is a bit quiet and a little introverted. She'll only speak if she feels she needs to. She's also very curious and usually wanders off somewhere. There are a few occasions when she actually smiles.
During serious moments, Melfina is calm and collected, thinking of every strategy possible to give her an edge. She doesn't have a spiteful attitude or dark, but more of a still and blank one.//
Ahh, memories: || //The first-born of a high-ranking Perso Member and a informant, Melfina was always in the dark, ever since she was born. Always being protected, but most of the time neglected, by both of her parents. Since she was a first-born they thought that they had it taken care of and did their part to help the Perso. As a young girl she rarely to never goes to the outside, so she adjusted to the dark. Even with the tudors helping her, Melfina considered herself as just a mere doll masquerading as a human in the real world. While being sheltered for so long, Melfina began to see mirages, illusions while she was along. Images of bright lights to meek darkness. She had often wondered if that was the world outside. She began to try and make more... master it... the illusions were the closest thing Melfina had close to the real world, since she was stuck in a little hole for most of her life.
Melfina also began to hear sounds in her head. While her tudor was done tudoring her and leaving her room, she started to hear her tudors' voice in her head. The very thought of it scared her, and at first the child thought that she was just hearing things. But then a group of scientists were outside her door one day, overhearing about several experiments that the child didn't understand. A still silence was after that, but not to Melfina. She still heard their voices, even though that they didn't say anything verbally. Also, while with one of her tudors, objects began to levitate around Melfina, her having no control whatsoever. The tudors was obviously shocked by this discovery, as was Melfina. Since she had no interaction with the scientists or experimintation, no data found of any experimintation at the time of her born, Melfina realized that she was born with these two psychic abilities. Needless to say, this was too overwheming for a young girl about eight years old.
One day, Melfina finally snuck into the outside. It was almost like what she saw in her illusions, only this time she could actually feel what's going on. It was at that day where there was a festival at a nearby town, and Melfina saw for the first time; fireworks. Something so bright she wasn't used to, but something so beautiful that she couldn't look away even once. She wanted to learn more... so she wandered around. A few times, she got lost but she didn't care. It was about three days until she was found and brought back.
Melfina utterly hated being caged, so she escaped again. Repeated attempts were made but all failed to recapture the girl. It was about that time that Melfina discovered a peculiar power of hers. In the morning, when some other Perso came to retrive her, Melfina's eye color turned red as the group was now covered in an illusion. The girl wondered why they were standing still, but used that time to escape. She had noticed that they started moving when a minute passed. She used it a second time, and used that minute to escape. When they caught up, Melfina used it a third time. It was about sunset as Melfina wandered near the Perso estate figuring out nowhere else to go since she didn't know any other relatives to take her in. The same group of Perso that was chasing her sneaking up behind her, a startled Melfina activated her power again, but after it was set, Melfina's vision became blurrly until it was all black that she could see. Scared and Confused, Melfina wasn't aware of her iris that turned a blank white. The Perso group, concerned for the firstborn's safety, took her back in. The doctors confirmed that she was blind, and they had to make some arrangements... but then the following day, Melfina's vision was clear and her eyes were back to it's original deep blue color.
Because of Melfina's silence with her physical attacks and illusions... she was considered as the Perso's Mist. The white-haired girl thought it fit her. The Mist only appears and disappears, confusing those who are in it. No matter what, it couldn't truly be seen. That's what Melfina thought, and she still does think that way. She went off again, the Perso's sights now set on the new enemies. The Vongola and their allies. Also, their was the matter of the lost rings that needed to be found. Melfina would only watch over, like she always did. After all, the mist, when in it, covers the sky.//

Burn, baby! BURN!: || // Melfina is mostly an illusionist, mostly her illusions while fighting are based on the different types of weather and natural conditions. Her most powerful is the Sorrow Eyes. When Melfina uses it, her eyes turn from blue to red. The Sorrow Eyes allows her to make anyone she makes eye-contact with watch a one-minute long illusion, but Melfina could only use it three times a day. Anything more than that could temporarily make her blind for the rest of the day (when she is blind, her eyes go white).
Melfina is also both a telepath and telekinetic, but she uses her psychic abilities in battle sparingly. //
