Sarasa's Observation Notebook
I am a Paranormal Investigatory, I study the Paranormal... This is my notebook of obseravtions.
Jack, The Pumpkin-Head King of Halloween.
I had the fortunate chance to speak with Jack, however, it was a bit of a roundabout quest to do so. Before I was able to gain a precious interview with the almost imposing Pumpkin King, I was told to gather one hundred pieces of candy from my the homes of my fellow Gaians. No easy task. Luckily, there were little candy generators that delt out a single piece to anyone who simply opened the little orange flap on the black contraption.

I started from my home, visited those who live in the homes around me, and worked my way out until finally returning to the Pumpkin King. The following is a transcript between Jack and I.

Jack: For ye troubles I shall grant ye an interview.

Sarasa: Thank you, Jack... May I call you Jack?

Jack: Have ye brought me an offerin?

Sarasa: Yes, I have actually. One hundred pieces of candy, correct?

Jack: Aye, that was the agreement..

Sarasa: Here you are, although I think there must have been a sale on skittles this year...

-This is the point where I handed him my candy collection bag for him to inspect. He rummaged through the bag and found his favorite, a bright orange skittle.-

Jack: Ah, lil missy, ya brought me a good un. Aye, ye can call me Jack.

Sarasa: Thank you, Jack. So this year's event is the biggest Halloween event to date, what with four of the many Gaia Races getting involved in the festivities. Did you coordinate all of this yourself, even down to the fortune teller who started this battle?

Jack: Aye, it made it easier to use others for me work. Less strain so I can enjoy the holidays. I mean, it only comes once a year, aye?

Sarasa: True enough, do you have a particular favorite in terms of winners, or was the Fortune Teller lieing about only one race being able to survive?

Jack: Eh, my favorite race still has to be the vampires, they make for a good show, and they like to boast a bit, got to have a bit of spirit. But in the end, only one race will survive, I myself have to stay neutral in this war.

Sarasa: So it is true that only one will survive. Any reason for not including some of the races introduced for the rejected olympics like Centaurs and Imps, or even the persistance race of Aliens who choose to remain on Gaia?

Jack: Aye, the Centaurs are off on some cruise thingy, not sure what they had in their drinks, but don't ask don't tell eh? Imps..dunno where they went...
-At this point he took a step to the side and we heard an odd noise, something that sounded like a squeeky toy.-
Oh..erm..I think I jsut found one..oops..And the Aliens are at home watching their newest episode of 'will and grace.'

Sarasa: Those do sound like valid reasons to not get involved. What about the elusive chance to become a Dark Elf? They're so new to Gaia, was it a publicity stunt or something more?

Jack: Eh..don't tell anyone, but I've been playing quite a bit of [Edited out on Request]..and I decided to see how that would actually work in this war..

Sarasa: Of course, [Edited out on Request]. I know you've already been on the Evolving Item Report, do you plan to make any other apperances?

Jack: Eh, I may make a few new nifty inventions.
-He popped the earlier orange skittle into his mouth- But I'm not sure what to do yet, still working on my level 72 blood elf.

Sarasa: One last question, Jack, do you have next year's Halloween event planed, and are you willing to disclose any information?

Jack: Aye, I do have next years halloween planned, and I think the newcomers are gunna like this one. It'll involve alot of these orange skittles..I just love em!

Sarasa: Well, that wraps up the interview. Thank you for your time, Jack. We hope to see more of you in comming events and for many years to come.
-I offered my small hand to shake his, slightly curious about how a handshake would work.-

Jack: -Jack looked nonchalantly at the hand and continued eating his skittles.-

I chose to make my exit after that, as to not disturb him further. But it was one of the cleanest, easiest interviews I had ever gotten, despite the quest involved.
