"Hey," Sapphire said, "You have your retarded moments."
"True but yours are worse."
"Your just jealous you can't live forever."
Maya glared at Sapphire. "Hardly."
Sapphire saw a hotel up ahead and pointed and Maya turned into the parking lot.
The girls checked in and got a room. Sapphire headed headed to the shower and Maya flopped down on her bed and quickly fell asleep. Sapphire exited the shower and found Maya asleep and making her whimpering sleep noises. Sapphire couldn't help and chuckle. Maya sat up.
"What?" she said looking around.
"Have a nice dream about Aiden?" she asked with a smirk.
"No," Maya said gathering her clothes and heading to the shower.
"Liar," Sapphire said as Maya walked by and she swore she saw the werewolf blush slightly.
When Maya got out of the shower she discovered that Sapphire was no where to be seen.
"Dammit," she said crwling into bed. But she was to exhausted to care. And went right to sleep.
Sapphire spent about three hours at a bar. Since it wasn't dark out yet she decided she wouldn't take anyone home with her , not yet. She pushed the door open to their hotel room and smiled to her self seeing Maya making her doggy noises. Silently Sapphire carried a take out box over to the small table in the room and opend it up.
"I smell chicken wings." Maya said sitting up and sniffing the air. She looked over at Sapphire and grined.
"Food!" Maya barked and jumped off the bed. Sapphire laughed and moved out of the werewolfs way.
"I also brought beefe jerky." Sapphire said as she shook the bag and took a chunk out. She bit into the dried meet and flopped onto the bed.
"So where were you at?" Maya questioned between eating her chicken wings.
"Bar." The vampire replyed and tossed a can of soda to her friend who caught it before she looked up. "Fun no boys?" she asked and Sapphire shook her head and looked to the window. "To bright out." Sapphire pouted and looked at her beef jerky.
"Aww poor little blood sucker..." Maya teased and recived a pillow to the back of the head.
"Shut up you know what happens if I don't get blood. Do you really want a bloodlusting Vampire sitting in the same cramped car with you all day?"warned Sapphire arching an eyebrow.
"No." Maya said getting out of bed. "So does this bar look like it could be fun later tonight asfter the sun goes down?"
"Of course and tonight the is some sort of get together going on tonight."
"Cool. What kind of get together?"
"I don't know but I'm sure cute guys will be there."
"Oooh," Maya said.
"I know," Sapphire said, "Aiden might even be there."
"WHAT?!? Why would you say that?" Maya asked all flustered.
"He probably lives in this town. People hang out at a bar."
"Well odds are he won't be," Maya said walking to the bathroom to get ready.
Around nine o'clock the girls headed out to the bar. Sapphire was wearing a short skirt and belly shirt. Maya took the safer route and wore jeans and a tee shirt.
"You look desperate," Maya said.
"Well you don't look desperate enough."
"That's because I'm not," Maya said walikng into the bar. There were people everywhere. The girls made there way up to the counter and order some drinks. After several hours Maya was sitting at a table with a slight buzz while she watched Sapphire dancing on the floor with several guys. She saw Sapphire talk to a guy and then nod her head and point at Maya.
"Great," Maya said.
The guy Sapphire was talking to looked ata Maya and nodded his head, before walking over to her. "Hey your Maya, right?"
Maya looked the guy over, he was fairly tall and cute with a baby face. "Thats me." she slurred with a dopey grin.
"Awesome I'm Chris. SO Sapphire tells me your the chick Aiden was with earlyer today." chris said with a smirk.
"Aiden? " Sapphire could see maya's ears perk at his name. "Yeah. What is he talking about me or something?" she questioned leaning forward.
"A little yeah but he wont give out anything juicy." Chris admited with a shrug.
"Well whats he told you so far?"
Chris rubed the back of his neck as he though, "Uhmm.... He said two Smoken chicks took him for the ride of his life in their mustang." Christ stated and Maya laughed.
"Did you also tell him how I was tossed from the hood of the car?" Sapphires voice asked from behind Maya. WHen Maya turned around she was suprised to see Sapphire and Aiden standing there.
"No I left that part out." Aiden laughed and smiled at Maya. She returned the smile and patted the seat next to her. Aiden sat down and was about to drink from the glass in his hand when Sapphire stole it. After taking a good sized drink fromhis glass Sapphire sat it on the tabe and smirked. "Thanks for the drink Aiden, but the suns only down for so long and I have so many guy to choose from. So Im going to dance now." and with that Sapphire was back to the dance floor.
Aiden and Maya watched Sapphire walk off then turned to look at each other, "some one knows how to party." Aiden laughed and Maya snorted,"You have no Idea."
"Oh really?" Aiden asked ordering another drink.
"Yea," Maya said that girl sure knows how to party."
"Uh huh." Aiden said," SHe looks proetty wasted." MAya looked at her friend on the dance floor.
"Looks wasted," Maya thought, "But that's it vampire can't get drunk.'
"Yea," Maya said smiling at Aiden, "She pretty wasted." Aiden looked at Maya.
"And you look and sound pretty wasted."
"Are not," Maya said truimphantly, "I can hold my liquor like you would not believe!!" she stood up and fell onto Aiden's lap.
"I can see that," he said. Maya layed there and breathed in his scent. He smelled like pine.
"You smell amazing!!" Maya said as she sat up.
"Uhm . . . thank you?" Maya and Aiden started to laugh.
Maya smelled the two men befor they entered the bar and started to look for Sapphire in the crowd. "What's wrong?" Aiden asked.
"We need to get Sapphire and get out of here."
"Why?" Aiden asked. But he got his answer as two men walked through the door and Maya went pale.
"Who are those people?"
"Not good," Maya said grabbing aiden's hand and getting up. They two men that had come through the doors were also a vampire and a werewolf. They had probably come looking for Maya and Sapphire. Vampires and werewolves usually didn't like it when others encroached upon there territory. Maya needed to find Sapphire and get out of there. And she had no choice but to bring Aiden with her cause who knows what the men would do to him. Maya had a death grip on Aiden's hand and headed to the dance floor to find Sapphire.
Sapphire had senced the surge of power and had turned to look at the table that she had left Maya and Aiden at only to find it empty.
"Sh*t." Sapphire said as she looked around the crowed of people that she had drawn around her. Unfortunately for her the crowed around Sapphire was easy to spot and the the pair were head right to it.
"Maya you can ease up on my hand a little." Aiden said hopping his hand isn't purple from blood loss. Maya ignored his pleas as she tried to reach Sapphire.
Seeing the top of Aidens head Sapphire sighed, she was almost to them, she reached her hand out to grab Maya's. Maya turned just in time to watch Sapphires hand skim past her.
"F*ck." Maya growled and pushed her way into the middle of the dance floor, where she found Sapphire.
She was in the arms of the male vampire. He was tall and muscular with raven black hair and honey colored eyes. "You weren't planing on leaving with out dancing with me were you?" the vampire purred at Sapphire.
Any other day of the week Sapphires knees would have buckled at the way he spoke to her, but right then and there she knew better.
"Sorry, I'm all danced out for one night. Maybe a rain check." she said as she slid out of his grip and turned to leave only to have him grab her wrist and pull her back to him.
Sapphire slamed into the vamps chest and Maya lunged forward letting Aidens hand go only to be caught by the male werewolf.
"What pretty little creatures we found tonight." the were wolf said with a grin.
"HEY BACK OFF!" Aiden yelled about to start a fight.
"Aiden!" Maya barked and Aiden stopped in his tracks.
"Trust me boys, you are messing with the wrong girls." Sapphire hissed as the vampire dug his nails into her flesh.
"No,we know exactly who we are messing with, one of you is a b***h and the other will suck you dry." the vampire smirked
"I'll show you a b***h," Maya said headbuttin the werewolf in the face. He staggered back and grabbed his nose. Aiden went up the Maya as she grabbed her forehead.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yea," She said nodding.
Sapphire has started a brawl with the vampire who was trying to restrain her.
"I'll show you just what i am capable of!" yelled Sapphire as she kicked the vamp in the gut. "We got a pair of fiesty ones tonight," the vampire said returning the blow.
"Damn," the werewolf said cracking his nose back into place.
"Leave her alone," Aiden said standing in front of Maya.
"Well aren't you the brave one. Protecting the little b***h. Is she yours?"
"Aiden don't," Maya pleaded pulling at the back of his shirt.
The bar had quickly emptied leaving the brawling vamps and werewolves and Aiden. Sapphire was holding her own as she and the vamp through each other all over the bar.
The werewolf walked upto Aiden. "You really don't wanna fight me."
"Leave her alone,' Aiden said.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," He said grabbing Aiden's head and slamming it into the edge of the table and fell to the floor unconcious.
"AIDEN!!!" Maya shrieked.
Sapphire slamed the male vampire into a table and broke it into pieces. He quickly stood up and slammed Sapphire into the wall.
"Now you listen here,' he said looking into Sapphire's eyes,"This is my territory. You can't just coming barging in her with your little pet and start a ruckous."
"I didn't start a ruckous you did!' she said kicking him in the groin. He dropped her to the floor. She quickly stood up and grabbed a piece of the broken table.
"Now you won't cause any more trouble," Sapphire said staking the vamp.
Maya fell to the floor grabbing Aiden.
"Aiden!" she said looking at his head. He had a huge gash on the left sid eof his head and it was bleeding profusly.
The werewolf grabbed her by the back of the head and stood her up.
'What kind of a werewolf are you? Falling for a human. Your disgusting!" he spat at her.
"F*cker!" Maya said kneeing him in the ribs.
"What kind of a werwolf are you?' she growled. "Pick fights with girls and beating up humans! Your pathetic!" The male werewolfstood up and Maya slamed into him sending him flipped over the bar and crashing into the liqour bottles behind the counter. Maya jumped up onto the counter but saw the werewolf was knocked out so she quickly ran back to Aiden.
"Aiden!" Maya sobbed.
Sapphire made her way over to her friends.
