Many thoughts filled the head of the newest member of the 6th Squad as she walked along the streets of Seireitei. The most important were those of her newest position in the Soul Society, as well as her new responsibilities. Life would be harder now, it was time for the newest Soul Reaper to show them all what she could do, and prove her strength in doing so. These were just some of the things that wound their way through every thought that penetrated the calm exterior of the 3rd seat of Squad 6, Ayira Moon.
Flicking a piece of her long black hair out of her glacial blue eyes, she took a deep breath to attempt to quite the voices screaming in her head. It's not that she was insane or anything, it was just the typical voices of doubt and fear that travel among everyone now and then. Even with her clam and collective exterior, Ayira was a bundle of nerves, which was a new and strange feeling to her. However now was not the time to think of such things, she needed to concentrate on her new life, not to mention her first, and hopefully last, Capitan.
Speaking of Capitan Byakuya, Ayira quicken her pace as she headed towards in section, where his office was located. After all being late for your first day was no way to make an impression, unless you were looking to make a poor one. No she wanted to make Capitan Byakuya prod to have her among his ranks, and to be a high member at that. She was picked for his Squad because of her success at the Academy, and she knew she had a reputation to live up too, since she had heard the rumors that floated around about her already. Ayira was also not one to brag so she really hoped that this news did not reach the ears of her Capitan, and then cause him to think he now had a new Squad member that was full of herself. That could be a career killer, and she had aspirations of becoming a Capitan herself one day, hopefully.
Pushing these new doubts from her mind she rounded a corner and came face to face with not only her Capitan but Squad 5's Captain and a member of Squad 5. Stopping dead in her tracks Ayira bowed respectfully to the fellow Soul Reapers standing before her. "Kuchiki-Taicho, Abarai-Taicho." she said in a soft even tone of voice. Standing up slowly she gazed at all of them with her piercing blue eyes, no emotion hidden in their depths. "I am Ayira Moon, you new 3rd seat Kuchiki-Taicho." she added after a moment, realizing that he may have no idea who she was.
Her eyes then drifted to the other girl standing in front of her, she was not sure who she was but she seemed rather peppy, which unnerved Ayira. She was never a big fan of loud or cutesy or girly girls, they always seemed to have a hidden agenda to her and it never was one that involved anything other then a man. Though she was going to give this one the benefit of the doubt and not prejudge her based on her looks. She tilted her head to the young girl in a show of friendship and respect before turning her attention back to the two Captains, her mind filling with rather unprofessional thoughts herself, but she did her best to suppress them as she waited to see what her Captain wanted of her.
