Okay I haven't been on in awhile so I've got lots of entries to put up. First I'm gonna start with my September campout. In September I went to an out of state shootaround. Here we shot .22 and .12 gauge shotguns(only the girls were supposed to shot the .12 gauge shotguns, but we heard that my friend Matt begged on his hands and knees to shot the .12 guage so he couldn't be shown up by the girls... hahahaha that was funny), rifles, pistols(my personal favorite), air rifle(I got on the junior rifle team here because I shot for over 35 points), muzzleloading, and we did some fly fishing. Let's start with Friday though. On Friday we met at our meeting place at 2:45. Some of my friends got off of school early because they wouldn't be out by then. Then we had to go all the way to the Metro station to get Matt. We made the mistake here of going through all the traffic. That added about an hour to the already long car ride. So after we finally picked him up and we're on the road we stopped 2 hours in to get something to eat at Subway. NOthing much happened here so I'm gonna skip over it. When we were within an hour from the place we had already driven 5 and 1/2 hours. So it was about 8:30. We had to b eat the campgrounds at nine for a safety instruction. This was when we played racecar down the highway. We reached a top speed of about 100 miles and hour at one point. The other car that was going was my leader and she reached a top speed of at least 110 miles an hour. I think that had to do with the guys who kept telling her to speed upto beat the girls and the fact that we we're running late. So we were neck and neck most of the time down the highway but sometimes when car would speed ahead, then we would battle for the front again. The girls ended up getting to the campsite first and when I got out of the car I ended up being the frist injury of the whole campout because I fell out and sliced my arm on the wooden fence. My friends all got a laugh out of that. We ended up going to the meeting and after that the guys were sent off to find our campsite but wither they got lost or what not and after 20 mintues of waiting the cars drove in and in less than 10 mintues found the site and the obviously lost boys. We didn't expect them to come back anyways. We set up our tents and sat downs at the fire that the other group in the adjacent campsite started. This group, I believe, was all boys. I sat down with my friend Emily and we all started talking. (The guys, Matt, Bryan and Pat, had already been talking to the other new guys for 20 minutes) One of the guys came and sat next to me(this is inportant for later) his name was Ryan. (I figured that out the next day) At one point Matt said something and I kicked him for it and then he porceded to flip me over the bench. My back hit a rock really hard(I was holding on to the bench for dear life) and my head would have hit a rock had Ryan not grabbed it before then. I walked over to my leader and asked her if I had a bruise on my back she said no and joked around with me about going home in a wheelchair due to multiple injuries. (that didn't happen for all you out there that are taking me serioulsy) Matt felt really bad abou it and hugged me to make me feel better and forgive him... It worked then he figures out Saturday that that's not always going to work though. Soon we all went to bed and here's where I stop.
