As some of you may know, I was recently hospitalized for a few days with really bad chest pains. Thankfully, after a long day of CT scans, echo cardiograms, and breathing oxygen from a bottle, I was finally given my discharge today. I am so glad to be out and no longer have to deal with hospital related nonsense. Here's some highlights from hospital visit:
- I had lots of vials of blood drawn, even some arterial blood (if you ever had one of these, you'll know this hurts like hell).
- I had the biggest room in my ward for 2 days: The Hallway!
- I found a hospital where the food is actually good! Shocking, no?
- I had a CT scan done. This was my first CT Scan every and despite where everyone said about it being a b***h and scary, I enjoyed it. The IV contrast made me all warm and happy.
-Lastly, I've come to have a new appreciation for life. I never quite thought about what it would be like to stare death in the face the way I did. I honestly thought my chest was going to explode from how much pain I was in. No longer will I take life for granted and sit in front of the computer screen for insanely long periods *cough all day cough*. It's time for me to go out and enjoy life to the fullest.
