Scaaaaaaaarryyyyyyyyyyyy... Dx
NOTE: This post is in no relation to my fics whatsoever.

Okay, so this is what happened yesterday:

I let my friend come home with me from a lock-in at the church since there wasn't anyone at her house, and in the morning, a couple minutes after we got here, I took her to my horse's pasture to show her my favorite place - a washed out canyon.

We got there, and I showed her the stuff she had to do in order to enter my sacred place (overactive imagination, don't ask), and after she entered, she looked up to the top of the canyon and asked if we could go up there.

THERE is where I could've stopped the entire thing. Dx

I thought about it, and then showed her the safest way up. After we had climbed up there, I took a look around (since I had never been up there before), and then discovered some other canyons. Being the nosy little girl I am, I decided to go explore them.

BAD idea. Dx

The first one we came upon was okay, nothing unusual about it, so we went to the next one.

ALSO a bad idea. Dx

Anyways, I got to the next canyon, and it looked really cool. It wasn't very big at all, and I thought that I might like to sit and draw there, but then I looked down...

And I saw, at the floor of the canyon, yellow bird feathers and rabbit fur scattered about in a little pile...

gonk

When my friend came up, I was still staring at that pile of feathers and fur. She said that the canyon was really cool and everything, until I told her to look down. I don't really think she was scared, because then she started "acting", and started telling me a story, untill we heard a rustle of grass. gonk

We kept still and listened, and it sounded like someone was coming toward us.

"Okay, not pretending anymore," my friend whispered.

I spotted a mound of dirt I could climb on, and I peered over the edge of the canyon wall, to find...

My horse, eating grass a couple feet away.

"It's only Loco," I said, sighing with relief as I climbed down the dirt. "But I still think we should get out of here..."

So we did...

And then, later, me (with my over-active imagination and all), and my friend (who also has an over-active imagination), came up with the idea that we "disturbed the spirits of the canyon", so I have to go back once a month and perform a pretend "ritual" so the spirits will calm down. gonk

I have a bad feeling about that place, and I don't think I want to go back. gonk

Oh,Sillie,you shouldn't go back.At least I don't think so.

That sounds really creepy. -huggles-

If you don't think you shouldn't go back, then just don't.Trust your instincts. nn
