Shadowy figures in the night, a cloak (ok, a cape), a dagger… mysterious machinations the depths of which you’d never guess… that’s right, it’s time for a CYOA!
This is a single elimination CYOA, which means that if you forget to post once, you’re out. If you make the wrong choice, you’re out. However, this is also a Russian Roulette CYOA, which means that every day there will be AT LEAST ONE elimination. If nobody makes the wrong choice? Well, there are other ways of knocking somebody out of the running. You’ll need a little luck, a little skill, and a lot of boldness if you want to survive… THE GREAT CAPE CAPER.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is one fit for only the bravest of the brave- or maybe just the luckiest of the lucky. You’re going to steal one of TACO’s capes, using a combination of skills that would make any international mare of mystery openly weep in your glory and greatness. You have been contacted by a shadowy figure, known only to you as The Boss, who has given you your extremely vague instructions: Acquire one of TACO’s capes by any means necessary. You may not have seen The Boss in person; they called some of their agents from pay phones and approached others in dimly-lit restaurants with giant hats on, ensuring their face was never seen. From the intelligence you’ve gathered, the cape is an item of interest and great rewards will come to the one who manages to acquire it… but you also know that TACO himself must never know that his cape is being hunted. If he finds out, he’ll hightail it out of town, taking the cape with him- and the jig will be up!
