Nym shielded her face with her hand when the larger dragon roared at her. She gritted her teeth through it, and when he was finished. She glared at him. Were they not going to finish her off? Dragons here were strange? She pondered a moment, but not too long as it seemed they were ready to leave. The smaller dragon seemed to react to her words. This gave her something of an idea. "W-wait!....Starve....Help..." She said faintly, slowly attempting to drag herself to her knees at least.

Koku felt better being closer to the older dragon and had decided to listen to him. The older ones were usually smarter than him. Koku didn't usually listen, but he still knew it. This time he should probably listen. This human was stubborn. But just as he was getting ready to leave, he looked over his shoulder at the human. Was she trying to communicate something to her? She wanted him to help her? After she had just tried to kill him? She was joking, right? But then Koku thought about it. If he didn't have the energy to kill her so she wouldn't follow him, maybe he should appease her instead. He nudged the older dragon, asking him to wait a minute, then looked around. His big blue eyes found a fruit tree nearby and he walked over to it. He bumped the tree's trunk with his tail until one of the large fruits fell off. It hit his head and he flinched and shook it off. The fruit was about the side of a human head, maybe the size of this human's hand. He flicked his tail and tossed it over to her and then rejoined the older dragon, letting him know he was ready to leave now.

Tobias

The older dragon noticed the sense of pity the younger dragon felt and nodded in accordance. If the woman tried anything Tobias could easily send her halfway through the forest from this distance. Grunting his approval until Koku finished once he had returned. Tobias turned and walked back to the copse area where the fish continued jumping their bellies shimmering in the sunlight as they flipped. The white scaled male laid himself down his body almost wrapping around the entire body of water. His eyes looked to Koku and then at the water before giving him an assuring nod almost as if asking if he was hungry. The Wyvern had already had his fill on the delectable silver backs in the pond. He yawned and placed his head on the ground snorting which caused some dust to disperse into the air.

Nym watched carefully as the young dragon acquired a fruit from a tree. She braced herself when the fruit was batted her way, relaxing when the fruit rolled to a stop in front of her. She eyed it a moment, then the two dragons. She palmed the fruit as they moved away, pondering a moment as to how to go about eating it. Shrugging she simply started chomping into it with savage abandon. In seconds it was devoured, completely. Wiping her face on her forearm, she stood up. The high sugar content of the fruit metabolizing quickly. With caution, she began to make her way to her sword. It wasn't too far from where she was, especially since the tree it was in was blown over, and towards her. Gripping the handle tightly, she ripped it from the thick trunk, tearing it out along the trunk some, causing it to split. She eyed the water the dragons were at, then looked herself over, ruffling her nose at the smell. She'd been in these forests for a while. Tracking was different here, so was the game. Her first night here she made the mistake of eating a very bright colored poisonous berry. Thankfully, it wasn't deadly poisonous. It made her more cautious to eating the plants here. Reversing her grip on the hilt of her blade she started towards the two dragons, the top of her blade dragging along the forest floor. As she neared them, she simply ignored their presence, bee-lining for the water. As she reached the edge, she simply plunged her weapon into the dirt, and undid a few clasps that held her attire up. It fell to the ground and she stepped out of the pile of clothes. She then jumped into the water, causing a rather large splash. Immediately the water where she was started becoming dirty, as if dirt from the bottom had been kicked up. After a moment, she surfaced, flipping her head back, her shining red hair flipping back with it, flinging water about. She may had been dirty before, but not anymore. The water felt nice on her skin, and the light from the sun caused her dark skin to shimmer in the light, the water adding emphasis to the definition of her chiseled physique. Closing her eyes, she laid back, allowing herself to float upon her back.

Koku grunted a good luck to the redhead before following the older dragon closely. He came up behind him and nudged his larger frame with his nose, introducing himself, I'm Koku. When they made it to the water, he leapt forward excitedly, watching all the fish, his eyes darting from side to side. He hadn't seen so many fish in one place in a while. Humans tended to scare them off. He watched the older dragon for a moment, then nodded vehemently. Of course he was hungry! He was always hungry for fish, and he'd only had one today before he'd been so rudely attacked. He slivered his tongue out and licked around his lips. He could taste them already... But just as he was about to delve in and catch some lunch, the human from before bursted in, make a big fuss of splashing about in the water. What, had she been following them? He frowned at her, sitting back disappointedly. Typical human...scared away all the fish... He gave a pouting whine. What was he supposed to do now? He looked over at the older dragon and then back at the human floating cluelessly in the water.

Tobias

Tobias nodded in understanding as Koku revealed his name to the adult. he watched as the woman jumped into the water ruining little Koku's chance at food. The male breathed out a sigh his tail swinging around rising high into the air poised like a spear. Working it like a well maneuvered arm it dove into the water causing waves to form and a huge splash soon it stopped the thrust hitting it's mark. The fish had nothing on speed when it came to the weapon that Tobias wielded. Dragging his tail from the water he held it in front of the smaller beast impaled against it were three fish still writhing a bit from the shock. Eat young Koku, My name is Tobias he growled softly. His eyes followed the woman eyeing her glistening skin and well built physique. It seems we have a pest, You must be more cautious he warned again. The dragon hardly ever came down from the mountains since most humans did not dare to come that far. If they did he blew them away with the blizzards snow or earthen dirt. This one was strange ignoring them so as not to cause any more trouble.

Koku grinned a little, eating the fish gratefully, completely oblivious to the Tobias' warning. He was entirely too focused on the delicious food. But his curious eye drifted up toward the human. Then his snorted disdainfully and looked back down at his food. Who cared about some pesky little...well...large human? She wasn't a threat to them. Maybe she'd been a bit of a challenge for Koku, but she'd had the element of surprise and there were two of them now. Beside, he gave her fruit.

Nym straightened herself out as the large dragon speared the water. It startled her, putting her in a defensive posture, but then she saw what it was all about and relaxed herself. She smirked and dove under the water. She hid her presence completely, until she burst from the water and flopped playfully onto the shoulders of the young dragon. "Haha, south dragon strange." She said with a carefree demeanor. She wasn't afraid, the two dragons had only shown defensive postures without any malicious hostility. Before Koku could throw her off, she started scratching the young dragon just above the nap of it's neck, a pleasantly sensitive spot on most dragons.

Koku jumped, startled, when the human threw herself on him, once again interrupting his meal. He thought she was attacking him at first and tried to throw her off, but then she began to scratch at his scales and his body involuntarily relaxed. And she thought he was the strange one?! Koku craned his neck and gave her a weird look.

Nym giggled and rested her body on him. This whole situation was strange to her, strange, but not bad. Usually the dragons she dealt with had not even the slightest modicum of intellect. They also didn't startle so easily. It was amusing to her. Was she so frightening? She shrugged inwardly at the thought. "Understand man words?" She asked softly, continuing to scratch Koku's neck, resting her head on the dragon. If Koku payed attention to it, he'd notice how high her body temperature was, almost like that of a dragon's rather then a humans. This was due to her place of origin. The human body was an interesting thing, able to adapt to any environment given enough birthing room per-say. Her large body, sinewy muscles and heightened metabolism help increase her body temperature to keep her from freezing in the snowy norths beyond north. It was surprisingly comfortable on Koku's upper back. "Dragon from home have rough, sharp, scale." She explained, running a hand along Koku's back. "Smooth, not rough, why?" She asked aloud, to no one in particular.

Tobias sat idly as the woman played with Koku, the young dragon obviously could deal with her if the situation got out of hand. As she continued too speak the male only laid and listened. So she was from elsewhere obviously the north by her attire. He understood then why she would act the way she does to them compared to their northern brethren. The north had been plagued by dragon hunters recently as Tobias had last passed over. The large dragon growled disdain and sorrow at the thought. However as she asked if they knew man words he nodded. Yes we understand the words of men, not that you could hear me human he breathed.

Koku looked at her when asked about understanding humans. He nodded with a quirked expression as if it should've been the most obvious thing in the world. She really didn't know anything, did she? Koku didn't know there were dragons out there that were so much different from him. He'd never been so far north and he'd never met one of the alleged Evil Ones, so to him most dragons were in similar categories. The woman's body was nice and warm, but her weight on Koku's back was getting uncomfortable, so he shifted and shrugged her off. He lowered to rest in a sitting position with his back legs tucked under him and his front legs crossed over each other with his chin resting on them. He watched the human with more curiosity.

Nym gave a little yipe as she plopped into the water again. "ooh!" With a scoff and a giggle, she caught herself, pulling her form up from the water and onto the rock/shore where Koku was sitting. "Much life here, much hot too....augh..." She sighed, coming her fingers through her long wavy hair, picking a few pieces of stick and other foresty bits. "So dirty here, not like home. More color, but dirty." She explained, picking some more bits from her hair, sighing a bit.

The older dragon made a noise resembling laughter as he watched the human and Koku interact. Now that this human meant no harm Tobias did not mind her but she was obviously an annoyance for young Koku. That could not be helped however it was the younglings doing after all. As he watched her fall in the water again she began to pick out sticks and other things from her hair. You should take better care of yourself he teased to himself as he moved his head directly in front of her blowing out gently as the excess leaves, sticks, and other things flew out of the woman's beautiful long hair. That and the heat of his breath drying her off almost instantly. Once he was done he moved back laying down once more. Koku she is your charge, How we deal with her is up to you

Koku gave a disgruntled grunt at her comments about his homelands. I like the color...and the dirt. He watched Tobias blow the debris from her hair and chuckled at how frizzy it looked after. But he immediately jumped up incredulously at Tobias' words to him. What do you mean?! She's not mine! I just gave her some fruit, it's not my fault she followed us. I don't want to be responsible for a human... He ended his complaint with a whiny grumble, thinking maybe she would end up being more trouble than he bargained for.
