Pound would rather absorb something and ask questions later. Pound is not dim. Just disinterested. Kinda like, "blah, yeah, what ever." And then proceed to absorb it just to get rid of it.
Pound also does not see itself has having a gender and unlike its twin it would result to it or thing instead of he or she.
Pound is a currency and it has a thing for coins. Also lets face it... with all it has absorbed it is probably a good hundred plus POUNDS.
I wouldn't recommend making Pound angry. You'd likely get absorbed and not squished. Outfit: I dunno. Do whatever you want. Special Features: Do whatever you feel is best for your art style. The character does not need to be 'cube' shaped in body, and if anything it can be an eventual skill that they can form into cubes/angular or geometric shapes later on down the road.
I do however thing it would be kinda nifty to see what Pound absorbed last. Other: IDK. I am crazy and wanted a Gelatinous Cube eventually and so did Pales. Thus we combined our powers for great justice (or evil).

Can at will absorb something * As suggested by Deeg: It's absorption skill starts out really weak and gets stronger as it manifests. Initially it has next to no luck digesting anything not meant for digestion or taking it in through anything other than an orifice (get your heads out of the gutter). So at the hatchling stage they can eat but they can't eat just anything and gain nutrition from it. Quick digestion

Semi-transparent, shiny, and holds shape very well (not drippy/goopy looking). Um. Think a bit like Crona in body shape. Everything else is pretty much up to the artist. 'Hair' I'd like to have styled similarly to Chrona as well. Angles and blocks sort of deal, totally unmatched like it is self cut. Personality: Quill is adventurous and generally likes to do all of the things. Sometimes they are a bit of a busy body and get into a situation that is more than Quill can handle. Quill doesn't see itself as male or female and if pressed might call itself a 'she' or a 'he' depending on the mood it feels. Quill got its name because as soon as it was 'born' it ate one of the tech's writing utensils, and by ate I mean that Quill took the pen and stuffed it into their gelatinous body where it floated until it could be reclaimed. Good quest, rather solid ideas of their looks. Here are a few things of note:
* Is Pound brash or more just dim and disinterested? Like by that absorb first ask questions later it could be a 'doesnt want to think about it' or is a 'is a hotheaded gelatinous cube'
* You guys don't have to worry about the neutral thing because Manifests do not have to follow exact rules
* Consider their absorption skills as starting really weak then ranking up as they manifest. Initially they are probably going to have next to no luck digesting anything not meant for digestion or taking it in through anything other than an orifice (get your heads out of the gutter). So at hatchling they can eat but they can't eat just anything and gain nutrition from it. :3
