Story:
Sanctum, an originally ravaged planet rebuilt by humans, is now the home to a majority of the human race as Earth has become a warzone. However, the government of Sanctum is in disarray as more and more people disagree with their decisions. With several attempts of assassination on key members of the High Council, many members have decided to either begin living off-planet on satellites or hiring mercenaries and body guards to protect them and their families. Among the heightened turmoil on the planet, a discovery within the planet's core reveals that an ancient civilization existed on Sanctum many years before the humans even arrived there. News of this spread quickly to the four major planets of the Terra Empire as both archaeologists and glory seekers flock to Sanctum in search of great mysteries to be found there.
Role-players will be taking on the role of a traveler headed towards Sanctum, whether it is for personal gain or for some other reason.
Background Information on Sanctum
Technology
As war spread across Earth, technology took leaps and bounds. One of the most famous invention of hand-held laser weapons. These weapons are known for their extreme accuracy, though they are not nearly as lethal as traditional firearms. In current times on Sanctum, laser weapons are commonly reserved for law enforcement while military and mercenaries use traditional firearms.
Another technological marvel on Sanctum is the mana-glove. This device amplifies a user's life force allowing them to preform magic. Because of the myth that using the device shortens the user's life span, the production and distribution of the mana-glove is extremely regulated, though the trade-off of prolong used of a mana-glove means that the user can eventually use magic without the use of the device.
Life Sciences
Though most of the population of Sanctum is human, a few other species live there as well. The most notable species are the Devlod. Though nearly identical to humans, Devlod can clearly be identified by their pointed ears. They also have an innate master of over their own life force, allowing most of the Devlod to use magic without the use of a mana-glove.
Evolving from previously programmed Artificial Intelligences meant to reproduce in a manner similar organic life, Datoids are semi-organic beings capable of enter datascapes as electric data. They create their organic forms through the use of flash cloning processes that allow them to create fully functional bodies in a manner of seconds. Many datoids are used by military companies as spies or drivers for vehicles. Though technically capable of asexual reproduction, the process causes a lot of mental stress on the datoid causing them to become rampant.

Bio: Akira is a young man who has fought in the war, but not so much as an officer. He was mostly used as a human weapon, and he was extremely merciless in battle. He had lost his limbs when he was young, and his butler built his cybornetic body for him as he grew up. He most recently lost his right eye and his right ear, which were replaced with a glass eye, and a ear piece that also has a scope for him to see. He is often cold and relentless, and has only really cared for very few people.

Both of his arms and legs are mechanical. He also has plenty of war scars on his face.
Equipment: He uses multiple weapons built in his cyborg body, but he usually just likes to use his fists and a pistol.
Skills: Super human strength, and keen accuracy because of the lens scope.

Skills: Ilan is highly adept at preforming magic and as such, she uses it for offensive attacks as well as to create magical armor around herself.

Due to certain circumstances, Subaru has come to live with Akira, and work as his book-binder. She is light-hearted, and usually bright and cheerful, but she is also very sensitive, and can lose her temper sometimes. Subaru is fascinated with anything related to fantasy.

Equipment: She detests using guns for anything, and really hates combat altogether, but to defend herself, she uses various tools from her book-binding tool kit.
Skills: She is a very good cook, and she is able to fix anything after analyzing it.

Alisa comes from the desert region, so often says how thankful she is to be alive and for everything given to her, which can come off as an annoying trait. She takes her fortune telling very seriously, though, and never gives an incorrect prediction. She can very easily predict the weather forecast as well. She often walks around barefooted.

Bio: Avril doesn't remember much of her past except for waking up in a military installation and that she is a datoid. What she doesn't know is that she is actually a highly trained datoid assassin that was regularly mindwiped causing her to adapt different personalities. She is heading to Sanctum because she believes she may have originated from there, due to the small amount of information she managed to hack from various sources.
