AgentShiny -When Nai went to go rouse Shiny and wake her up she noticed she was gone. All of her belongings were gone as well, along with the book she had taken from the library. All that was found to give any clue was a note addressed to Nai that was found in Nai's room by one of the maids-
*Nai tries to wake up on the balcony and is handed a note from a handmaiden. Out of the corner of her eye she sees two angels talking, one with huge wings the other with cute canary colored ones. She tears open the envelope... *

Nai took the scroll from the maid and opened it quickly...
Nai opened the note to find a beautiful ruby pendant was enclosed with it. The note read:
My dearest Naioka,
I cannot endanger you nor anyone in the castle with the danger that we
have discovered lurks in the labyrinth. I have set out to finish what we
originally started together. You once told me that the center holds what
I desire most. I don't expect this is an adventure that I will likely
return from. With that I leave you with this pendant, it has saved my
life many times in battle. The magic of this pendant heals the wearer,
Some believe it regenerates. I have felt the healing magic of the pendant,
I have yet to witness the regenerative abilities. This pendant is a
family heirloom, seeing as I have no family left, I pass it to you.
When we first met, you could hardly fight, but your magic powers were
beyond the abilities of most. Now you are a fighting mage, you will go
far and little will stand in your way. You have learned all that I can
teach you.
The time I have spent with you here in the castle was one of the best
things in my life. You opened my heart to love again and that is why

*Moving quickly, she straps on the thin leather armor that Lilith recently made in the armory and throws her deep blue mage robe over it. The armor is easy to move in but she is still worried if it will hinder her. She has been wearing it every day training but is used to just wearing a thin robe. With sparkling silver trim and a blue aurora around it, the mage robe is enchanted with a willpower spell that enhances the mystical powers of the wearer. Given to her by an ancient Artemis, a local wizard, before he died, she slows down her movements, carefully selecting scrolls, gems, and potions for the journey. She makes sure her boot dagger and throwing knives are sharp. Finally, she puts her long sword in it's sheath on her back and clasps the ruby heart pendant around her neck, kissing it before she hides it in the folds of her robe. Without warning Nai strides over to the tower window and jumps out.*

Feeling badly that maybe she should have given Lilith and Adela and the other guests a warning, Nai crumples her brow.... but there is no time to waste when Shiny is in danger. She reassures herself and, after a minute she begins to unfold her wings, angling towards the labyrinth.*
I feel your presence. . .
*Ensured by the pulsating pendant, she follows her heart (on both the amulet and in her chest) towards Shiny. Her magnificent snow white wings span nearly 8 feet and she beats them hard as she soars over the picturesque landscape, speeding towards where she can feel Shiny in danger*
I wonder how far she has made it. . .
*Clenching her fists, Nai folds her wings back and turns sharply towards the earth. Before alighting her feet on solid ground, she unsheathes her sword and slices off the head of a corpse crow.*
What the hell is this carrion beast doing here? I hope to goddess it's feeding on the corpses of her foes and not her.
*Folding her wings and concealing them for speedier movement in her mage robe, she sprints towards where the pendant beats fastest. Reaching a dead end, the ruby amulet begins to glow. Nai knows Shiny is close but fears that she won't navigate the maze in time. Nai thinks to herself:*

*She thought, referring to the sounds of metal scraping against metal.*
The sound of a knife being sharpened?
*She shrugged it off, hoping for it to be just that... And hoping for the knife to be in the hands of a friend. Or at the very least... Someone who wouldn't kill her.*

AgentShiny Shiny suddenly yells out in agony in what sounded close to the center. The sound of clashing metal could be heard from where Nai was. Nai suddenly got a vision like glimpse of Shiny flying through the air looking badly injured and very battle worn.

*Nai grimaces and feels the pain of Shiny's wounds slash through her body.*

*Without hesitation Nai pulls the gold ring off her hand and uses the ruby pendant to focus her soul's energy*
Tân yn dy galon! *Nai screams out the celtic incantation for fire of the heart. A beam of red light shoots out of her heart, through the ring and is then magnified by the ruby, blasting through to the other side of the gem in a huge plume of flame. The previously impenetrable vine and bush wall of the labyrinth bursts into flame. Without waiting for the flames to dissipate, Nai swigs a resist fire potion and jumps through the hole in the barrier.*
K-Kira?!?!?!

*Nai freezes, spotting Kira through the ring of flame she just created.*
What are you doing here? Don't you know it's dangerous?
*Nai adresses Kira and Kirei Mei Sakuya*

*Nai scowls and bares her teeth, hissing a prayer to the water queen, Icovellauna. She inhales and breathes out the blessing of water, dousing the hole so the two followers can pass*

*Sprinting down the path and looking over her shoulder Nai hears Shiny's screams and her own heart calls out in sympathy:*

Naioka AgentShiny Shiny suddenly yells out in agony in what sounded close to the center. The sound of clashing metal could be heard from where Nai was. Nai suddenly got a vision like glimpse of Shiny flying through the air looking badly injured and very battle worn.
*Nai grimaces and feels the pain of Shiny's wounds slash through her body.*
I'm coming!
*Without hesitation Nai pulls the gold ring off her hand and uses the ruby pendant to focus her soul's energy*
Tân yn dy galon! *Nai screams out the celtic incantation for fire of the heart. A beam of red light shoots out of her heart, through the ring and is then magnified by the ruby, blasting through to the other side of the gem in a huge plume of flame. The previously impenetrable vine and bush wall of the labyrinth bursts into flame. Without waiting for the flames to dissipate, Nai swigs a resist fire potion and jumps through the hole in the barrier.*

*Nai freezes, spotting Kira through the ring of flame she just created.*
What are you doing here? Don't you know it's dangerous?
*Nai adresses Kira and Kirei Mei Sakuya*
If you two want to follow, stay close. I don't have time to waste and it's very likely you will get hurt if you stray. Shiny's life is in the balance! She left so we would be safe, don't make her efforts in vain!
*Nai scowls and bares her teeth, hissing a prayer to the water queen, Icovellauna. She inhales and breathes out the blessing of water, dousing the hole so the two followers can pass*
Hurry!
*Sprinting down the path and looking over her shoulder Nai hears Shiny's screams and her own heart calls out in sympathy:*

Shiny was in a motionless heap either unconscious or well on her way to the end...there wasn't much time left and Nai knew it...
Shiny's once bright eyes were now darkened from bruises and she was splattered in blood from head to toe...it was difficult to tell if it was Shiny's blood or her fallen foes...
Shiny twitched slightly and the slightest mumbling squeak could be heard....
