Apple Bunnies

[Chinmoku Bushi]

Fast.
Yummy.
Cute.



Is that not what we all want in food?

Who here has made apple bunnies?
I have and lets just say, they are freakin' cute.
All you will need a an apple, knife, bowl of cold water and possibly a cutting board.
Oh and make sure you do this will someone so if you get hurt they can assist you.

Look at the picture at the beginning. See how the apple is cut in slices? Do that its easy, just cut it in half first and go from there.

Once you finish that its time to start the ears! With your knife cut into the apple skin lightly! Don't cut through the apple. Make triangles at the ends or the butt of the apple bunny.

As show in the picture you will have to slide the knife under the skin and cut out the triangle piece.

Look at the next picture. That's where the bowl and cold water come in. Ignore the lemon I dunno why it's there. Put the apple bunnies in the water till their 'ears' start to curl up. Don't leave then in to long because they will get funky looking.

Annnnnd tah dah you made apple bunnies! Yay biggrin

i tried this once but the ears kept splitting so i gave up. now if only i knew how to do octopus weenies!!
