Just wondering, but when you paint your nails..

Do your fingers/nails feel heavier? just ever so slightly?

Mine do. I thought maybe everyone noticed this but I mentioned it to both my sisters and they think I'm crazy.

I never noticed this, but I have polish on most of the time lately. I'll take it off before I get them redone on Thursday and see if they feel lighter, or heavier when there's polish on them again.

Also I clip my nails when they need it, but usually the nail place will clip them and... I just realized that would make them lighter, not heavier, derp. But they also put a lot more stuff than somebody who does their own nails at home, so maybe there's that too?

Yes actually, I rarely paint my nails.

I just did yesterday and my nails feel thicker.

Maybe I'm just weird...

Thicker might make more sense, yeah. After I posted the thread I was like maybe heavy isn't really what I mean..
I was thinking maybe I'm just more aware of my nails after I paint them or something.

They definitely seem thicker. That's more what I mean.
