This theme kicks off a month long marathon of Dev Meat themes for the entirety of June, which will start focusing on life after you're born under a Zodiac Sign. All beginning next week Friday! emotion_yatta

The next step in our journey though the stages of a person's life is: "Cycle of Life: Part 2 - Teenager" (thanks gataka!). Dress up like a 13-19 year old and we'll all gather at 5 pm PST in Towns 2. Once inside, type "I'm in heaven" (without the quotes) in the chat bar to transport to our meeting place. You may also need to transport to friends on other layers.

We better enjoy Heaven while we can ... I think by next time we might get kicked out into a less ideal environment. burning_eyes

This struggle finally manifests itself in a midlife crisis after decades of drama from work, marriage, kids, finances ... it can be hell.

Over the past several years, Gaia has added more and more balloons to their item inventory. Many of these in the form of cute animals. emotion_kirakira There are plenty more on the site too in all shapes and themes. emotion_yatta

Let's celebrate this festive weekend and warm mid-summer day with a "Balloon Parade"! Thanks go to The Wandering Empress for the theme idea and title. 3nodding

If we get a big enough group of people sporting balloons, we could even decide on a place to go marching through in Towns 2, hopefully bringing even more people into the crowd! biggrin

Comic-Con in San Diego might be known for comic book super heroes (it's right in the name!), but it's come to represent so much more. Movies, TV, books, video games, and basically all pop culture media. It's a place where Disney and anime are just as celebrated as heroes in tights. emotion_yatta

Also, it's going on RIGHT NOW! eek All this weekend, who knows what kind of things will get revealed there?? emotion_dowant

Our theme for tonight then is "Comic-Con Club". 3nodding Come dressed as something other than super heroes in one of the other elements the convention is known for.

We'll assemble at 5 pm PST tonight in Cirnol64's playful, toy and game filled room which you can enter in a new window or new browser tab. 3nodding

]Turn on the news, and just about every day, there is some new story about a shark attack. Yet the media ignores the true menace out there! gonk On average, for every shark attack in the news, there are 3.3 dragon attacks that go unreported! eek

The problem is that dragons are smart creatures, buy a lot of influence with gold, and threaten even more retaliation if these facts are exposed. We have to act! scream

But the only solution is appeasement! emotion_facepalm We need to show that we're on the dragons' side and not all that much different from them. emotion_kirakira

For the Dev Meat theme today: "Dragon Summer", come equipped with as many dragons or draconic gear and fashion as possible. Thanks Trickster Francis for bringing this issue to light with a theme idea. biggrin
