Mea knows this girl at her school who is a theater major and singer - she also happens to be gay. Long story short, we met today as sort of a "set-up," and we both eventually hit it off pretty well. Yes, we were both very nervous, and yes, maybe the kiss on the hand I gave her when I said goodbye was a bit dramatic. But the truth is, there's the possibility of something going on between us.
Obviously I can't count my chickens before they hatch. I'm planning on seeing this girl next week, but after that I'm going back to NorCal and she's staying in Irvine for the summer and the rest of college. Which means if something does happen between us, I'll have to work hard to make this actually result in something. Of course I can't fret about this too much because hey, graduation's upcoming and that's my priority. Plus I just met this girl, and any developments would take a lot of time and energy. But as I'm searching for a job and a place to live...who knows. There's just a lot of things about my life that I have to clear up and maybe this will be something I can work toward.
