Well - this may sound silly - but browse through a 'weight watchers' magazine! They have some good recipies.
Something that's fairly easy, and good for you, that *I* love, is:
Tomato & avocado on Toast! biggrin
2 slices brown toast, 1/2 a ripe avocado 3 slices of tomato
cut up 1/2 the avocado into slices, place them on the toast (so you now have 1/4 of an avocado on each slice of toast) then 1 & 1/2 slices of tomato on each. Sprinkle some black pepper ontop if you wish. CONSUME!
As for the rest of the tomato & avocado:
I find putting them cut-side-down on a plate, and putting them in the fridge makes them last. (just make sure you take the pit out of the avocado first).
Remember: Tomato Sauce, Pickles, Celery, and cucumbers - are pretty much 'freebies' when it comes to weight watching. biggrin
If you're interested, there are also weight-watchers books you can buy, without joining the club. And I can always send you a photocopy of the slide-rule. It lets you eat whatever you want; in moderation. Personally, I haven't had the energy to actually count points in a while. BUT sometimes I'll take the slide-rule out, and check how 'bad' a certain food is, and I keep notes in my head of 'that's lots of points' 'that's not many points'; and generally eat better.
But I ignore their fruit counts. stare A large banana us supposedly 3 points (I think?) and it's a natural and healthy food! so I will eat all the bananas I so wish! scream
Another little note, that you probably already know about, is:
When you feel hungry, go drink a full glass of water, and wait 20 minutes. Then eat. A) it helps prevent the miscommunication your stomach sometimes sends to your brain. ("I'm hungry!!", when in actuality, it's "I'm THIRSTY!"). B) it helps to fill you up if you are hungry, so you don't eat as much. 3nodding
