What the Hell is going on in the market?

I don't know how many of you frequent the marketplace in this here Gaia-verse. But have you noticed the prices are totally whacked?!

Chickie mask, valued at 3.6k selling for 25k.
bani mask, valued at 4k, selling at 500k!
katana's still on the rise. Up 75k from this time yesterday.

What the hell happened? I know I haven't been around much lately, but come on, I thought the admins were doing something about the inflation on here. Instead it seems to be worse than it was before.

I remember sealed envelopes selling for 5k, now they're 20k a pop.

Right now an item normalization project is underway, meaning that the markets and trading systems are having some difficulties. It would most likely explain the bizarre prices.

It's more-so got to do with the item coding, per se. Not exactly the items themselves.

I haven't checked back in the Marketplace since the site came back up. No surprise there's inflation. ):
