I've been trying for a while to come up with a good Cernunnos avatar. This is my most successful try so far:

I've been waiting for ages for Gaia to add an elephant trunk item so that I can put together a Ganesha avatar. I just got back on Gaia recently after a long absence, so if they've added that in the meanwhile, I'd appreciate somebody telling me before I'm broke again.

What about you?

Why the green pajamas?

The pajamas are my biggest problem with the avatar. I needed a striped outfit of some kind, because I'm working off of this:

Why do you think that it is a representation of cloth given the stag has a similar striping?

I didn't know that the stag has similar striping.

Either way, I need some way of representing the striping on my avatar.

It's in the picture you displayed.

Either way, I need some way of representing the striping on my avatar if I want to recreate that image

Better?

Not really- since last I checked, stags don't wear green pajamas.

I believe I mentioned that I also think that is the least effective element of my costume? If not, then I am mentioning it now.

I thought Cernunnos only had the antlers and wasn't completely a stag?

The stag and Cernunnos have the same striping. What do you think the striping represents on the stag?

Is that a question meant to provoke thought or do you already know the answer and you're hoping I'll figure it out on my own?

That would completely depend on how you answer it.

I got to see the The Gundestrup cauldron a couple of months ago as it is on loan to the national musem here.

It's a lot bigger person as it were, you'd easily fit a head in it.

I don't think that Cernunos is nakey tbh, the belt and lack of gonads on display means He could be wearing stripey clothes. the neck line and the seams above the knees also suggest this.

I'd argue for fur/leather-based articles myself.
