It had been a day like any other day. He had been wandering around the Kawani lands with little to no contact with others of his kind. Hollow Tzalmon didn't mind the lack of interaction though. He preferred it, if he were to be honest. For, whenever he did come across other Soquili or even Familiars, he typically had one of two reactions- either they wanted to dominate him for mating purposes or they wanted him driven from their lands or, worse, dead. There had never been any other forms of greetings. No warm welcomes into the herd lands. No pleasant exchanges with friends. Always with the disdain and the abuse. The only exception to this, of course, being his adoptive father.
The older stallion, Woflheart, had tried his best to raise the charmed Purewalker for the forces of good. He constantly strove to ingrain in the young one that his past didn't define him. That he could be a whatever he wished to be, and that he hoped he would one day fight to protect others and bring justice into the world. Hollow had once believed his father's words too, trusting that others would give him a chance, all while struggling against his inherited nature. The world changed his perceptions on the matter, however. Try as he might, he felt that nobody would ever see him for anything more than a Purewalker hellbent on destruction. Or, in the case of Purewalker females, a strong stallion suitable for creating strong offspring.
To be good, as his father wished, or to be evil, as others perceived him to be. That was the question that Hollow struggled with daily. So, yes, it was simply easier to steer clear of others whenever possible. A nice respite from that tormenting conundrum. Little did he know that the fates had a rather interesting encounter in store for him as he made his way to the mountainous regions of the lands.
