Reformation of the Wolverines

[Grimsystem]

*Speech given on the day of the creation of the Wolverine Task Force*


Grim was standing to the side of the platform as he looked on to all these soldiers that had been selected for this unit. Hundred's of men were at his command, he had to train them all, and give them genetic enhancements and mold them into the finest soldier's on the Earth. None of the soldiers knew what they were waiting for, they just stood completely silent at attention.

After a few moment's Grim turned and stepped up on to the platform in front of all the waiting soldiers. He moved to the microphone and cleared his throat.


"They shall be my finest warriors,
these men who give of themselves to me.
Like clay I shall mould them,
and in the furnace of war forge them.
They will be of iron will and steely muscle.
In great armour shall I clad them
and with the mightiest guns will they be armed.
They will be untouched by plague or disease,
no sickness will blight them.
They will have tactics, strategies and machines
so that no foe can best them in battle.
They are my bulwark against all that is evil.
They are the defenders of this world and all the good in it.
They are my Wolverine's
and they shall know no fear."

Grim stepped away from the mic and observed the how the soldiers were taking in what they just heard. Some of them looked scared, other's looked like they were accepting the challenge. Grim couldnt wait to see which soldiers would complete the program and become Wolverines.  

[Captain Vanguard]

Captain Vanguard was standing in at attention surrounded by a bunch of soldier's he's never seen before. He waited silently thinking about what was going to happen. As he got lost in his thought's he didnt see the weathered looking man who was approaching the platform in front of him and the rest of the soldier's. The man standing who just stepped up to the mic looked battle worn. He has scars all over his face and had a grizzly demeanor to him. The man cleared his throat to speak and Vans ears perked up as he tuned into what the officer was saying. After the speech Van had a million questions running through his head. He was nervous and was anxious to see what lay in store for him and his battle brothers.  

[Lukerino]

Fitz was in the middle with a few of the other Sergeant Majors, clapping weakly, not knowing what was going to come out next. If he had a clue, he'd be happier then before. Without him knowing, his best friend patted him on the shoulder and encouraged him to clap louder with the others. He wondered to himself, "No sickness.... armour... might? What is this.... I don't... I don't know..." All he could think about was his family back at home, and what they would make of him now that he was to fight with super soldiers, like the crusades of the middle age... He stood up, encouraging them to stand high and clap loud for the coming years. His men that he lead before, were indeed frightened, but not enough to halt them in their general direction.
