Prayer of the Wolverine:

Give me, my god, what you still have; give me what no one asks for. I do not ask for wealth, nor success, nor even health. People ask you so often, God, for all that, that you cannot have any left. Give me, my god, what you still have. Give me what people refuse to accept from you. I want desolation and suffering, I want turmoil and brawl. And if you should give them to me, my god, once and for all, let me be sure to have them always, for I will not always have the abandon to ask for them.

History:

The Wolverines used to be the 113th Special Forces division of the worlds most elite fighting force. They were the best of the entire division and fought in many campaigns and were never defeated in battle. In thier last mission the 113th Wolverines were purposely given bad intel and were led into an ambush that slaughtered most of the task force. After their fall they were disbanded and their records were burned and erased. All surviving members were forced to retire. But the last surviving officers pulled together and brought back the other survivors and started to rebuild. Now the 113th Wolverines are just the Wolverines and are now their own military force, and the worlds most elite fighters of any group.

As a Wolverine you must be physically and mentally tough, you must carry out the mission no matter what the cost. You must be willing to make sacrifices for the mission and your comrades. You are expected to be willing to give your life for your brothers in arms without hesitation.

The valor and honor of the Wolverines is a shining beacon for every soldier to look at with envy. When a Wolverine dies he wants a glorious death: to die fighting, with his weapon in hand and his brothers around him.

Welcome To the Wolverines, Trooper.
