The man turns slowly and blinks a few times, his mind catching up with the new development.
Then he begins screaming like a little girl at the top of his lungs and falls off his chair and on to the floor, where he scoots his but away towards the wall, drawing out a short sword as he make loud, shrieking cries and waves his sword around.

Meanwhile, in Canada, a guy comes out of the side door farther in the hallway, saying "Dude, what the he-" stopping as he sees the Lizardman, he instead begins backing up in the hallway and changes to "erm... Excuuuuuuse me, sir. I'll just be on my way."
Quickly scrambling, he moves the door and then pushes a beam to lock and latch the wooden door on his end, creating a barricade in the hallway as he escapes deeper into the bowels of... whatever this place is.

Gazjik took up the requested position just outside the doorway, mace in hand and ready to crack the skulls of whoever might show up. As Scar-hide stuck at one of the men below, Gazjik caught sight of someone approaching out of the corner of his eye. The lizardman turned to give chase, but before he rounded the corner he could see the man rush through a doorway further down the hall. The heavy thwumps of a beam latch echoed through the hall shortly after.

Gazjik cursed under his breath. Whoever they were, chances were good they'd be warning their compatriots soon. Calling out for Serena to watch the stairs, the lizardman made his way down the hall towards that door. With any luck he might be able to hear something on the other side.
