I couldn't find a place to share poems, so I created one! Sorry if there is one, but I didn't see it, or if I'm breaking a rule.

Here are my latest poems. Feel free to comment on them!

How often do I lie in bed,
While thoughts race through my mind?
How often are these thoughts I have
So terribly unkind?
More and more they do appear,
And more and more do I fear
That I begin to lose myself
In the midst of my emotions

These dreams of mine,
They haunt me
Chasing me through time
Following no reason,
Following no rhyme
I seek escape,
I run and flee,
But forever will they follow me
So to the darkness I surrender
Letting it consume my being

Something stalks me through the mist,
Since times I can't remember
My hunter's presence chills the air,
Cold like late December
He will persevere
And chase me 'round,
Till at last he brings me down
But I shall keep on running
Until the end of time
When my heart belongs to me
And only is it mine

Among others,
I laugh 'til I cry.
But when I'm alone,
I'm dead inside.


You're gone, you left me.
A victim of my dreams.
So now I sit, and cry,
Coming apart at the seams.



No one cares...
No one loves me.
And the reason is quite easy to see.
I'm worthless.
I'm hopeless.
I'm broken and battered.
My heart and soul
Have been utterly shattered.
But for a short time,
You were there.
You supported and loved me,
Told me how much you cared.
I didn't feel worthless, hopeless, and dead.
But all too soon your love up and fled.
Can't you hear my desperate cries?
See my tear-stained cheeks and pleading eyes?
The only one I had was you....
And now you've gone and abandoned me too.

That last post really seems like it's coming from a place of pain. It's haunting. 3nodding

Shades of black, white, and gray,
Why does it always end this way?
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words are what hurt the most...
You called me loser, ugly, geek,
You called me b***h, whore, freak,
You beat me and shoved me,
Acted like you're above me.
I lay on the floor, crying and hurt,
Begging, "Someone, please make it stop..."
Unlike my heart, my body can heal,
But you wouldn't understand how I feel.
How could you? Why would you?
You don't know what I've been through.
With slashed wrists, I stand in the rain,
Thinking, "What did I do to deserve this pain?"
And I wonder if life is worth living....
